Summer Play Date
I blew the biggest bubble,
annoying your anti gum fetish rule while you were reading,
under the red bush where we made our promises.
at the sound of the pop you chased me around the back yard,
until the sun went down, shadowing the darkness with a soft glowing,
then I let you catch me and threw my gum onto the grass not in surrender but in ecstasy.
