-time skip, Lucy's at Gray's house-

~Lucy's P. O. V. ~

I haven't stopped crying since I left Natsu's house, which would be...an hour? Or something. Gray kept doing stuff that I loved when I was young, which kept me from rampaging the house for knives to let me savour my blood, but it wasn't enough to cheer me up completely. Gray finally gave up and just let me cry in my room, leaving some food and boxes of tissue paper for me. Well, I needed them. I checked the time. 3:30pm. Way to go me. I was like this tap that never ran out of water. Or in this case, tears. I needed...

Blood....?

No friggin way I wasn't gonna draw blood for this asshole.

Yet why was I slowly shuffling towards the kitchen...?

Why was I reaching out for the knife and....bringing it to my arm? Why was I slitting my skin...then slitting my thigh?

Why was I slowly running the blade on my neck, enjoying the initial pain and the feeling of warm liquid slithering down my neck?

I went crazy. I lapped up the dripping blood from my arm and thigh, ran a finger down my neck and collarbone and sucked the blood that trickled from my finger. I savoured the sweet metallic taste lingering on my tongue; I was in ecstasy. Ecstasy filled with pain and sweet metal. Until a raven haired twin brother stepped in and shattered my ecstasy.

Note to self: do it behind a locked door next time.

"L-Lucy? LUCY? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO YOURSELF?" Gray shouted, running towards me and snatching the knife away from me. I felt the cause of my ecstasy slip from my fingers and scrabbled to get the knife back. "NII-SAN KAESHITE (A/N: Give it back)!" I yelled. Then a familiar sting erupted on my cheek.

Gray slapped me.

"Lucy. LUCY. LISTEN. STOP CUTTING YOURSELF PLEASE. IT HURTS TO SEE YOU DO THAT. YOURE MY SISTER I DONT WANT YOU TO HURT YOURSELF. PLEASE. PLEASE. STOP." Gray grabbed my shoulders and shook them, but tore his hand away when he felt blood ooz onto his hands. He immediately carried me to the washroom and dabbed at the blood, trying to make the blood stop. When it finally did, he made me shower and change. This sounds weird, but the intense pain from the wounds made me feel good. Comfortable, even. After that blood-drinking session, I was in a better mood. Don't ask why. I just felt better.

-timeskip, next day, morning-

I groaned as I looked in the mirror. The scars were pretty ugly. They swelled a little and it was pretty obvious that there had been a lot of blood. There was one on my thigh, arm, and neck. I decided to wear a hoodie and a band around my thigh as an accessory in an attempt to hide the scars. Gray looked at me, concerned, while I got into the car. "Lucy, are you okay?" "Yup, I'm fine nii-san. Let's go!"

When I reached school, people were looking at me and whispering. I have no idea why. They just hissed and gossiped among themselves. Not like I cared. I swept past them like they were nothing more than dirt on the floor and searched the crowd of students for my friends. When I spotted them, I rushed over and gave them a wave. "Hi!" I said cheerily. They all remained somber and looked at me worriedly. "Guys...?" I asked uneasily. Levy held my hands and asked, "Lu-chan, are you okay?" I stared at her, surprised. "Why wouldn't I be?" "She doesn't know?" Erza whispered. "Maybe a bit of booze will help" Cana waved a bottle of beer. "She hasn't seen the video?" Mira said in a hushed tone. "I think we should tell her." Levy said. Juvia said nothing, but just stared at my hoodie and band. "Lucy-san, can Juvia borrow your hoodie?" She asked. Shit. "Uh um no it's cold." I backed away. The others looked at me, confused, while Juvia simply walked up to me and removed my hoodie by force. I backed up and bumped into someone while trying to stop her. She took a scissors out of her pocket and slit my band into two. All of my three scars were visible. My friends gasped. The person I bumped into inhaled sharply. Double shit. "Lu-Lucy what is that..." Erza pointed at my scars. Oh no..."uhhh...." I couldn't answer. So I ran.
