Christmas present // Negan

Everyone felt down as the weather got colder and colder everyday, the nights got darker and everyone was getting sick.

I on the other hand loved this as I reminded me of Christmas, as I waited for morning to come so I could run into the living room to open up presents and the thought of Santa climbing down my chimney and Roodolf perched on my roof as his Red nose lit up the sky as everyone slept.

The savours thought I was crazy for feeling happy as everyone else felt down "come on guy, cheer up! It's basically Christmas" I cheered as everyone ignored me and got in with their own jobs

After the day was finished I walked into my room and closed my door and fell backwards on my bed, looking up at the ceiling.

I stayed in this spot for a couple more minutes until I heard my door open to see Negan standing at my doorway with a small smile on his face. He looked at me and sighed in happiness as he walked in, closing the door behind him and lay beside me, pulling me close it him

He lay on his side and his face buried into the crook of my neck. "Merry Christmas" I shyly whispered as I heard him chuckle.

"Christmas? Really?" He said as he sat up "it's the apocalypse and you're thinking of Christmas. That's adorable" he said as he pulled me into his chest.

"It's not adorable. I got you a present" I told him as I got up from his grasp. I walked over to the cupboard and took out a small box, poorly wrapped in 'happy birthday' wrapping paper

"Happy birthday?" He chuckled as he looked at me

"I couldn't find any Christmas paper. And it's Jesus's birthday, so technically I'm still right" I told him

"You're so adorable" he told me again as I huffed

"I'm not Adorable" I said as I crossed my hands over my chest "now open it" I clapped my hands, waiting for him to open his present

He rolled his eyes as he slowly opened it revealing a working watch. My smile disappeared as he he looked disappointed "I'm sorry, I couldn't find anything that I thought you might like. The watch works too so you can tell what time it is" I told him as my head hung low.

He saw the look on my face as he felt guilty for looking disappointed "look y/n, I didn't know how much Christmas meant to you." He started as he cupped my face with his hand and looked into my eyes as a smile creeped onto his lips.

"Then why did you look disappointed?" I asked him as I tried not to spill any tears

" I wasn't expecting you to get me two gifts" he told me as I looked at him confused

"Two?"

"You're the only gift I need on Christmas, because I will love it everyday"
