Newt imagine

Your POV:

The life in the glade was peaceful. You made your work at the medjacks' hut and treated everyone that needed.

Newt's POV:

I was walking to the maze doors to watch the runners coming back. Minho came and then came Thomas, right before the doors closed.

"So, how was today?" I ask Thomas, jogging with him.

"Same as always... Newt, I have to tell you something" Thomas says, getting serious.

"What is it, Tommy?" I ask, becoming worried.

"It's that... I really like Anya but I don't know how to express it to her" He tells me.

Anger starts to boil inside my body... She was the girl of my dreams... MY girl. And now he's telling me that he fell in love with her?

"You're not serious, aren't you?" I ask, looking him dead in the eye.

"I'm shucking serious, Newt! Why would I joke about something like this?" He says, frustrated.

"Because I love her since the day she came up!" I yell, starting to loose my control.

"You didn't tell me nothing! How could I know? And now I fell in love with her, what are you gonna do?" He yells too.

"Get away from her." I say, with anger all over my body.

"You get away from her" He says, pushing me.

I grab his hand and try to knock him down. We start a big fight and every glader comes running to separate us. Minho grabs Thomas and Gally grabs me.

I look at Thomas... He didn't even had a scratch. And I felt all my body on the verge of breaking. My ankle hurted like hell, my wrist was almost broken and my face was full of scratches. My ribs were sore and I couldn't get on my feet. Thomas looked at me, blankly. Gally took me to the medjacks hut and informed the medjacks of what had happened.

Your POV:

You heard yelling and some minutes later, Gally enters the hut with an half broken Newt.

"What happened?" You ask, heartbroken by seeing Newt in that state.

"This wasn't my fault, this time. Thomas and Newt got into a fight." He says, putting Newt on a stretcher and walking away.

Newt just looked at the ground, not saying a word.

"Let me see your bruises." You tell him. You see his face's scratches, his bloody ankle and wrist.

"I need to see if your ribs are broken." You said, taking off his shirt and looking at his black ribs.

"Newt, don't be like that... Talk to me. You can trust me" You said, treating his wounds.

"Okay" He just says.

"Well, for a begining, why did you and Thomas fight? You're bestfriends, aren't you?" You ask.

"We were fighting over you." He says, looking at the ground again, with a serious face.

"Over me? Why?" You ask, stopping what you were doing.

"The thing is... I really like you since you came up, but I was afraid of telling you. Thomas told me today that he liked you too and I couldn't handle the feeling of loosing you to someone else."

"You like me? Why didn't you tell me?" You ask, putting down all things and getting on your knees in front of him, so he would be facing you.

"I was afraid of rejection"

"I didn't tell you too because I was afraid you didn't like me back." You say.

"You what?" He asks, shooting his head up.

"I like you... And that must be really hurting you so I think I should continue to treat your wounds." You say, continuing what you were doing.

Time skip...

You treated all his wounds and got him resting on a bed in the hut. You were walking out of the hut when Newt called.

"Anya, can you get here, please?"

You walk over him and ask him what's wrong.

"I think I have a thing in my eye... Can you see if I have?" He asks.

You lean in closer, looking into his eye, trying to find something. You feel a warm kiss against your lips and instantly kiss back.

"Do you wanna be my girl?" He asks, breaking the kiss.

"I would love to" You say, pressing a kiss against his head and letting him rest a little.
