Over-protective brother

"Why are you so nervous" I giggle lacing my fingers with conor's

"Because I'm meeting your family" Conor chuckled, I could feel how nervous he was and the tension in the body by the way he was squeezing my hand "and you said your brother was over protective of you"

"He is"

"Exactly what if he like tries to beat me up" Conor said

"He would only do that if you hurt Me" I say but couldn't help and chuckle "I'm joking,just don't get worried about it okay,I love you" I say

"I love you to" he said a small smile creeping on his face, as I lent up to kiss him.

We finally arrived at my parents and got out the uber.walking up the drive way Conor kept squeezing my hand

"Relax there gonna love you" I say and Conor nodded. I got the keys out my bag and unlocked the door

"Hello" I call through the house

"Hi" my mum smiled coming round the corner

"Hey" I say giving her a hug

"You must be Conor,it's lovely to meet you" my mum smiled giving him a hug

"You to" Conor said,and I gave him a quick smile

"Where's dad and Sean" I ask

"In the living room, there both exited to meet you" my Mum smiled looking at me then Conor.

I took Conor's hand and we walked up the stairs into the living room

"Hi honey" my dad smiled hugging me

"Hi,dad this is Conor, Conor this is my dad y/d/n"

"Nice to meet you" Conor said putting his hand out

"You to son" my dad smiled shaking Conor's hand

"And this is Sean, Sean , Conor" I say "be nice" I whisper into Sean's ear, as he stood up

"Hi" Conor said shaking Sean's hand

"Hi" Sean said bluntly and I rolled my eyes.

"Right I'll start dinner,y/d/n do you wanna help me" my mum asked

"Oh yes" my dad and they left the room, so me,Conor and Sean took a seat

"So Conor,how'd you meet y/n" Sean asked folding his arms

"We met at one of my concerts" Conor said, and Sean nodded

"But we had spoken before that, but just never met" I say

"On like instagram or.."

"Tinder" I say and Sean shot me a look."grow up,I know you use tinder" I say

"Whatever" Sean said

"So Conor,I heard that your a singer" my dad said coming into the living room and sitting down

"Yeah" Conor nodded

"Have you released any of your own songs"

"Yeah I have two albums,once in the making" Conor said

"And one of them was number one in the U.K charts" I butt in

"That's very impressive" my mum said joining in on the chat,and taking a seat next to my dad

"Now,you guys have been dating a couple months now" my dad said and me and Conor nodded "can I just ask what are your intentions for my daughter"

"Dad" I say

"What? It's just a question"

"Well umm to treat her right and take care of her, like how she deserves" Conor said and I smiled at him

"Awh that's sweet" my mum smiled

"Yes a very good answer son"

"If you get her pregnant.." Sean said

"Sean" I snap "shut up"

"No actually that's a good point.i don't want any grandchildren any time soon" my dad said

"Oh no don't worry about that" Conor said making my dad laugh.thank god,it's hard to make my dad laugh so Conor's doing amazingly well with my parents now it's just getting past Sean.

"Mum need any help with dinner" I ask

"Yes actually" my mum said and we walked through to the kitchen

"So, how do you think Conor's doing" I ask

"Very well actually, he's a very nice boy" my mum said

"I know Sean doesn't like him though"

"Yeah but Sean hasn't liked any of your boyfriends, and you know what he's like with looking after you"

"I know,it's just annoying,I can make my own decisions"

"I know you can,but just let him what he needs to and he's bound to come around" my mum said and I nodded

I helped her out a little before going back through

"Dinner" my mum yelled from the dining room. We all went though and took a seat.

During dinner Sean kept giving looks to Conor, and making the whole thing kinda awkward.

But after we all chatted more and Sean seemed to relax. What? Why is this happening he never relaxes he's usually up tight the whole night and then when they leave he looses it with me.

"Alright well me and Conor better get going" I say standing up

"Oh well okay,it was nice to meet you son" my dad said shaking Conor's hand

"You to, thanks for having me" he said, as my mum gave him a hug

Not it was Sean and what he thought of Conor. So we all watched as Sean approached Conor

"Welcome to the family" he laughed shaking Conor's hand

"What" I ask

"He's a good one y/n" Sean said now hugging me but I was so stunned I struggled to hug him back

"Are you messing with us or are you genuinely happy" I ask

"Genuinely happy,he seems genuin" Sean said

"Okay" I say slowly, not knowing if Sean's messing around or not.

"Well umm I'll see you guys later" I say hugging everyone

"Bye" my Mum smiled as we got into the uber

"Oh my god" I squeal hugging Conor

"What?"

"You got passed my brother,I can't believe that,what they fuck, that means that we're meant to be" I say kissing him as he laughed.

"Thank god,because I would never wanna loose you" Conor muttered before attaching our lips
