Well, let me tell you a story About a girl and a boy He fell in love with his best friend when she's around, he feels nothing but joy

"Oh my god Conor" she laughed, her soft hands landing my shoulder as he laughed away at the inappropriate joke I just made. Just her laughing made me smile widely she's so cute

But she was already broken, and it made her blind But she could never believe that love would ever treat her right

She's perfect, In so many ways. And watching her dance in time to music, sip on her drink as the lights flashed on her body from the club made my heart flutter.

But she's gone through one of the worst breakups in her life, that's right he cheated on her.

They had been dating since high school, and I honestly was happy for them both, even though I had always been jealous, and needed her I gave it up for her to be happy.

We've talked about it, countless times. It always ends up with her saying she won't fall in love again because you always end up hurt, or broken hearted, which makes looses my hopes in getting her

I've always loved her, and now is the time to tell her I think. Even though we're both intoxicated I still feel sober enough to tell her the truth.

I haven't smiled so much in life before I met her, she makes me so goddamn happy I can't even begin to tell you.

"Y/n I need to tell you something" I Say reaching out for hand. She nodded before following me out the club

"You okay" she asked

"Yeah! Do you wanna head back to mine" I ask, she just nodded in return so I pulled my phone out to call an Uber

I'm here to make you happy, I'm here to see you smile I've been wanting to tell you this for a long while

"So what's up" she asked taking a seat on the couch my body collapsed next to hers

"What do you mean" I ask fiddling my thumbs around

"Conor come on! I'm You're best friend I know somethings on you're mind" she said, softly placing her hands on my fidgety ones

"Okay well, I like you" I breathe, lifting my head to look at her face, she didn't say anything just looked at me, examining my face in a way

I want to tell her to not be scared, ask her to give us a chance: but I know the answer. I always have Because she's told me so many times she doesn't want to fall In Love again

Well, I can tell you're afraid of what this might do Cause we got such an amazing friendship and that you don't wanna lose
