Quinn POV

It's July 23rd and thinking about August being here soon makes me sick because summer will be over soon after that. I don't know if I'm ready for high school to be over yet. I'm ready for college, I just don't know if I'm ready for adulthood.

Today is my AP English class, which I'm excited for. We have a test today, and I have a good feeling that I'll be getting an A since I've read our class novel a million times.

Today I'm wearing a skirt that's floral print with a white tank top that matches well and makes me look cute. My hair is in pony tail and my shoes are a high heel boot that's black. I ordered these boots last week, and I'm excited to wear them more.

My binder is pressed against my chest as I walk throughout the semi empty hallway of my school. A faint smile is on my mouth as well. I'm in a good mood today and I don't know why.

I step in my classroom and automatically land eyes on Kay who's sitting in my seat. She's turned around, talking to Harry and her usual smirk is in her lips.

She knows that's my seat, yet she's still sitting there. I walk over to them and have a lingering smile that's fake on my mouth. I will not let her get to me.

"Can you get out of my seat please?" I ask kindly.

"There are other seats Quinn," Her blue eyes glance up at me. I can see in her eyes she's trying to fuck with me, like always.

"This is my seat though," I've been siting here since the first day of class.

"Do you own it?" Her eyebrow raises at me. "Last time I checked you don't so," Kay hums.

"Last time I checked you sat in the back," I say, trying to still be nice and not sound annoyed.

"Things change Quinn," Kay says with a smile. "Right Harry?" Her eyes glance to Harry who looks confused by everything happening. He's leaned back in his seat and is just staring at the both of us with knotted eyebrows.

"Uh, sure?" His eyes looks confused.

"Go sit in the back Kay." I say though a sigh.

"I want to sit here though." My stomach twists by her words. I'm so angry you can probably see steam coming from my head.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because it's a nice view of the board and I can talk to my friend Harry here," She looks to the boy behind her who looks like he doesn't want to be involved with anything going on.

They never hangout, so they aren't friends. She just flirts with him when she does see Harry, which is in class or when she's over my house with Joy.

I hangout with Harry more than she ever has. Yet Kay is acting like they're best friends. I roll my eyes to myself and push away my thoughts.

"Sit behind him then," I say. There is currently an open seat, but usually there is a girl who sits there who I don't know the name of honestly.

"You can sit there," Kay says. I bite down and grip onto my binders more tightly in my hold. "Are you not getting used to what you want?" She snickers. "Can you believe her Harry? Talk about Mrs. Perfect over here," She nudges his shoulder a bit. "Just because I feel bad I'll move, and be the bigger person."

She always loves making me to be the bad one. Kay stands up and moves her seat. She nudges her way past me and I roll my eyes. I sit down in my desk and place my binder down on my desk top. I close my eyes and let out a deep breath.

I wanted to go low blow so badly and say mean things, but I didn't. I wanted too though, but Harry already thinks I'm a mean person, which I probably am to some.

"Happy?" I hear Harry say behind me. I glance over my shoulder and see a slight smile on his lips.

"About?" I ask.

"Having your seat," He says casually.

"Yep. Happiest I'll ever be," I say sarcastically.

If Harry doesn't like Kay, why does he talk to her? He obviously knows she's into him. Is he one of those guys who lead on girls? Or is he just oblivious. Either way it's annoying me. I hate Kay, and he knows that. I thought since we are friends he wouldn't keep talking to her considering.

"Can we talk after class?" Harry asks me. His voice is in a whisper since our teacher looks ready to begin class.

"If Kay isn't up your ass, sure," I find myself saying before I could even think.

He doesn't respond because our teacher speaks. I take out my pencil and wait for the test be given out.

I can't believe I just said that.
