A/N: Better late than never right

"Happy Halloween!" Laf exclaims, throwing orange and black streamers into the room as he enters.

Alex looks up from his laptop. "But, it's not Halloween yet?"

John laughs. "Alex, babe, look at the calendar."

Alex looks up at the Shakespearean insult page-a-day calendar. "Wait? Really?"

The four of you laugh at Alex's confusion.

"But we haven't done anything! Pies, pumpkin carvings, costumes! None of it! And, baby Philip! What is he going to wear? Or trick or treating! Or-"

Herc comes over and wraps his arms around his boyfriend. "Relax. We already got costumes. We're going as the Incredibles. And, (Y/N), decked out the stroller. I'll start on the pies, and you and John can go get a pumpkin. (Y/N) and Laf are on decorations."

You all nod in agreement to Herc's plan and get started on your tasks. By the time you and Laf finish decorating, Herc is pulling the pie out of the oven, and John and Alex have come back with a fairly large pumpkin.

"I'll get Philip in costume if you guys want to start carving the pumpkin," you suggest.

They all agree and start carving the pumpkin, while you and Alex head into the bedroom to get Philip in his Jack-Jack costume.

"Thank you for all of this," Alex says, zipping your Mrs. Incredible costume.

You turn around and kiss his cheek. "We know how much you love Halloween. Plus, when John saw the baby Jack-Jack costume, he wouldn't put it down."

Herc, in his Mr. Incredible costume, pushing Philip in a stroller that is decorated to look like Lightning McQueen. Laf and Alex, Violet and Edna, walk hand in hand. John, Dash, has his arm wrapped around your waist as you approach the third, and probably the last, house.

"Alright, I think we're done. Philip's get cranky," Herc, the voice of reason, says.

You all take the short walk back to your house. After putting Philip to bed, the five of you sort through his candy.

"I love the person who gave out Reese's cups!" you exclaim through a mouthful of chocolate and peanut butter.

Laf laughs and wraps his arm around you. "Thank God for candy-giving strangers!"
