Chapter 72
Annie Pov.
"I... I am?" I ask, happily, but nervously.
She nods.
"Is there a way I can tell Finnick?" I ask.
"No, I'm afraid not. No one besides the president can communicate with the soldiers right now." she says.
"You don't think she could make an exception?" I ask.
"Coin's not one to make exceptions." She tells me.
I change the subject, "How long have I been.... pregnant?"
"Almost six months, you're so skinny it's kind of hard to notice. I'll write you a note so that you're allowed to get some extra food." she tells me.
"Do you guys know if it's a boy or girl yet?" I ask.
"We can look." she tells me.
They somehow look at the baby with a camera thing.
"Looks like you're going to have a little baby boy."
I start to cry, happily. I can't wait for Finnick to get back. We can have a family, I know the rebels will win. And we can finally live a life that I know both of us have always wanted.
