(Elphaba's POV)
The sun shines through the partially open curtains, and I yawn as I open my eyes, blinking against the light. I smile as I sit up and I look across the hall to where the blonde woman I care the most about lays soundly sleeping. It's been two weeks since I regained all my memories, and I still have my moments of panic and times I feel overwhelmed, but Glinda is always there to help me.
I quietly get up and go across the hall to her room and sit down on the edge of her bed. "Good morning beautiful." I whisper in Glinda's ear, and she grumbles curling up even more. This makes me chuckle. "Glinda, my sweet, it's time to get up." Again she opens one eye and glares at me. "What time is it?" She grumbles, and I look out the window. "It's about eight in the morning."
"Eight in the morning?" She mumbles sounding a little annoyed and I nod. "Elphaba Thropp you woke me at eight in the morning?" She growls at me, and I nod. "Why in Oz did you wake me up at this hour?"
"Because I would actually like to have breakfast with you, and not just lunch and supper." I smirk, and she glares at me again. "Please my sweet, and after we can spend the day laying around being lazy." She is quiet for a few minutes, and I decide to pull one of her moves, and give her the puppy eyes look. Glinda sighs. "Fine! You win. I'll get up."
"Yay!" I say mimicking one of her excited claps. She rolls her eyes as she sits up. "Ha ha!" She say sarcastically, and I laugh getting off the bed. "I'll see you in few!" I call as I go across the hall to my room to get ready for the day.
(Glinda's POV)
"Yeah, yeah." I grumble throwing the covers off as Elphie leaves my room. "Easy for you to be up this early you big, mean, green thing! I on the other hand need my beauty sleep!" The moment I say that I regret it. That was uncalled for. I mean she just wants to spend more time with you, and besides deep down you know you want to spend more time with her as well. "I know, and I promise I'll apologize." Good! Now better get moving so Elphie won't have to wait for you forever.
I go over to my closet and open. "Hmmm, let's see." I begin to sift through the many dresses, skirts, and tops I have looking for the perfect outfit to spend the day being lazy in. "Ah ha!" I pull out a white vintage flare dress that has a blue floral pattern, a v-neck with a line silhouette, and stops just above the knees. "Perfect! Elphie will love it." I say as I pull it out, and grabbing a pair of blue sandals.
It takes me about twenty minutes get ready, and then I head to the kitchen. I'm surprised when I see Elphie isn't wearing black like I suspected she would be, but wear a blue Cami wrap dress that has spaghetti straps, a v-neck wrap front, scoop back tie-belt at waist with a tulip hem that is longer at back. It is fitted through the bodice, skirt flows away from the body, and hits at mid calf, and she also is wearing her hair in a messy bun. I can't help but stare because she is so beautiful!
"Glinda? Earth to Glinda!" Someone snaps in front of my face and I jump, and Elphie chuckles setting a plate onto the table. I blush realizing that she had caught me staring. "S-sorry." I stammer, and she smiles pulling my chair out for me.
"So Glinda, you seemed a little lost in thought a moment ago what were you thinking?" She smirks. I look at her and stammer. "I... I was just thinking about... about... stuff." She cackles quietly. "Oh really?" She says, and I huff give her a slight glare tossing my hair over my shoulder. "Yes really!" She smirks, winks and saunters back to the stove. "If you insist." My face flushes and I quickly look down at my plate. Damn! Elphie looks so sexy! She knew exactly what I had been thinking.
I am pulled from my thoughts when she takes a seat across from me. "So, um, where is Bessie?"
"I told her to take the morning off." She says taking a sip of her tea. "Is that a problem?" She looks concerned, and I shake my head. "No not all! Hey what are we going to do today?"
"I thought that we could spend some time in the gardens. It's a beautiful day." Elphie looks out the window, and I smile watching her. "Sounds wonderful Elphie."
