The boat rocks causing my skin to prick as I watch the water with fear deep within my soul. A intake of air can be heard from my thin lips as I feel the boat start to tip. In my state of panic I overcorrect the error pinching my eyes closed.

I can feel the cool water runs over my skin as I sink deeper and deeper away from safety. Fear fills my lungs, yet they are desperate for anything but. My small frame sinks while I still fight my heavy limbs betray me. As air escapes my lungs I watch though closing eyelids at the dark world that will be known to me as my deathbed. Yet unknown to the world. Everything fades away leaving me with nothing.

Blinking here I sit on the boat. Dry and safe.
