Caelyn's POV:

I remember the first time I entered my house once my family died. It was cold. I remember I started trembling the minute I stepped in. I was shaking so much...
I remember collapsing on the ground. Wishing I could disappear. Wishing it could all disappear.
I remember I couldn't move. My limbs were shuddering so much I couldn't even bring myself to stand. I remember crying and sobbing.
I also remember no one was there to listen.

I hit rock bottom back then.
But it seems those moments don't come once in a lifetime.

I just hit rock bottom again.
But I feel like I can just keep going down, because there are endless terrible scenarios of how this could turn out. So I guess it's just me again... Me and my stone walls.

"Cael"

I turn around to look at Jolt, who's standing on the entrance of the room.

"They're here"

The thousand scenarios come back. Making me start shaking. Just like that time stepping into an empty house.
Ratchet is going to hate me for this.
They all are going to hate me for this.
How am I supposed to explain it?
How are they supposed to trust me again?

Evac walks in first.
I hold my breath.
This is happening so fast.

How could I do this?
They will never believe in me again.
They won't trust me again.

I can hear the steps coming closer to the entrance frame.

He will yell.
He will probably tell me how they never want to see me again.

I'm not ready for this.

He steps into the room.

Tears fill my eyes.

He just stares.

Wide optics.

He doesn't say a thing.

Everything seems to stop for a moment. There is no sound, and the only movement is me shaking. Both Evac and Jolt freeze. Ratchet freezes. The world around me seems to freeze. And I just want to be swallowed by it.

"Caelyn?" His shoulders drop.

I open my mouth. But nothing comes out. I continue trembling.

He begins to walk towards me. Slowly.

I curl my fingers into fists.
I can see a thousand questions on his faceplate.

He looks down at me. Looking at my new... My new everything...
He notices my shuddering.

His sight softens.
He places his servos on my arms.
It hurts, I flinch.

He frowns a bit, concerned.
I continue shaking below his touch.
His optics shine in pain.
