Today is going to be Harley's first sleepover with her best friend, Angelica.
H-I'm so excited. We get to sleep in the living room!
Ad- no fair, I want to sleep in the living room.
H- nope. Only me and Angelica because its OUR sleepover and since we share a room, we get to sleep in the livingroom. And dad is gonna take us to get snacks.
Ad- I want snacks
H- nope, only me and Angelica
Ad- mom!!
Lauren comes downstairs
L- what's up?
Ad- how come Harley can sleep in the living room and have snacks?
L- because you and dad are going on a boys weekend
Ad- What's that mean?
L- you guys are going to stay in a hotel and go to the water park and the carnival
Ad- awesome!
L- now go pack your bags.
H- but mom! I want to go to the water park!
L- you're having a sleepover though.
H-oh yeah!
Alex walks in with snacks.
H- I thought we were going with you?
A- well I was already at the store so I got them myself
Angelica- Mr.Harleys dad, did you get cookies? I really like cookies
A- yes, I got cookies
H- are you and Adison really going to a water park?
A- yes, we are. Speaking in which, is he packed baby?
L- yeah, he's all packed
Ad- I'm so excited dad! Can we bring one of the big floaties with us?
A- I'll see buddy.
L- hey kids, why don't you guys go outside and play. Just don't go near the pool,
H- okay! Come on guys! Can moose come too mommy?
L-yes, just watch him
The kids went outside and Lauren grabbed Alex's hand and brought him over to the couch.
L- so I found out some amazing news last week. And I didnt know when to tell you but I feel like now is a good time.
A- what is it?
L- stay here and close your eyes
A- okay....
Lauren runs upstairs and grabs a little box and takes it downstairs.
L- okay, open it
A- I have goosebumps (laughs)
L- just open it
A- okay
Alex opens it to see a positive pregnancy test
A- wait.... Are you serious?
L- (smiles) yes, I'm pregnant
A- oh my gosh! This is amazing!
Alex picks up Lauren and starts kissing her
L- (laughs)
A- have you told the kids?
L- not yet. I want to wait.
A- how far along are you?
L- one month. And look, I'm already showing
Lauren lifts her shirt to reveal a little baby bump. Alex places his hand on it.
A- wow. Maybe its twins again
L- no no no. No more twins (laughs)
A- This is so exciting baby
L- I know. I haven't told anyone but you. Its so hard to keep such a secret. Anyway, what time is it?
A- 12, its about time for Adison and I to head out.
L- okay, well you guys be safe. I love you
A- I love you too
