We were headed to Raina's therapy session. Her in the front seat and Mike in the back scrolling through his phone. It was a quiet drive. Mike said we were good, but it was apparent we were not and nowhere near it.

Raina sat hunched over, arms folded, head resting on her lap. I rubbed her back with my free hand. I knew she was dreading this. "We'll be right there, ok?" I spoke softly in a soothing tone.
She nodded. I noticed Mike's reflection the rearview staring at my gesture. He put his phone in his pocket and turned to look out the window with no expression.
Raina said she still wanted to do the play later that evening. She missed some rehearsals and fittings. Her instructor understood if she couldn't do it, but Raina wanted to show up and be there for her castmates.
We pulled up to Dr. Elise Mills office, I began to get nervous myself. I parked and we got out heading into the building. Raina checked in with the receptionist, she notified Dr. Mills. Then shortly after the doctor came out and greeted us. We followed to her office.

"Hi Raina." She said smiling gesturing her to sit. She sat and also said hi.
"Mr. Jackson good to see you." The doctor reached her hand out for Mike. He shook it. "Good to see you too Dr. Mills ."
She turned to me. "You're — Adrian correct, nice to see you again as well." She shook my hand before gesturing for us to sit and we did. "Thank you." I replied.
