I woke up rolling all over in Adrian's bed. He was already up I heard him shifting things around downstairs. I stayed in a little longer thinking about last night —well and this morning. It was everything I imagined it to be and more. I can't believe this was my reality. It feels more like a dream. I closed my eyes for a bit replaying every position, every feeling, all of it.
After a few moments of waddling all over the bed, I got up and grabbed all the used condoms and wrappers from the floor and discarded them. Also I noticed our clothes strung out everywhere. I placed them in the hamper. I found my phone viewing the time it was almost noon.
I smelled something cooking so I went to the bathroom to get myself together for the day. I found myself staring in the mirror for what seemed like hours. I analyzed all of the love marks left, smiling and admiring them.
After getting myself cleaned and dressed in a fitted white tee shirt and joggers I slowly eased downstairs. "Hi." I spoke, smiling at my man as he transferred food to a plate. I walked over to him.
"Hey baby." He leaned down to kiss me. "Mmm. You sleep ok?"
"Mmhm." I smile. He laughed a little. "Go ahead and have a seat I'm just finishing up."
"Ok." I walked over to one of the stools. "You want me to get our drinks?"
"No, I got it baby. You sit." I carefully sat down watching him. I was sore as fuck. He sat my plate in front of me then fixed himself some. He brought me water and crangrape juice. I was truly smittened.
He said the grace then we dug in. He made waffles and homestyle potatoes, paired with spinach eggs with mushrooms. Everything was so elegant. He was really committed to this cooking thing. I didn't know about those eggs, but I tried them.
