Liz's POV

I managed to suppress myself for the rest of the night. There were some close calls. Derek asked some random questions that ticked me off and Scott decided to add himself to our conversation at one point. In my point of view, less people is better. So I didn't really... appreciate it.

I was really tired around 4:30 AM. Nothing had pissed me off in the last half hour but I didn't wanted to accidentally rip someone in half so I didn't tell them. Both Stiles, Isaac and Oliver had already dozed off. I noticed that Scott was also getting sleepy but Derek and Peter looked like they were prepared. Although I must admit that Peter smelled like coffee.

I stifled a yawn but Derek noticed. "Tired?" he asked. I nodded and got a little bit more comfortable. My chains rattled which brought Scott back to earth.

"You're definitely the first werewolf that keeps fighting this long." he admitted while rubbing his eyes.

"Well I take that as a compliment."

I didn't even last 10 minutes after that. Someone carried me to Stiles's car and woke Stiles up. Because when I woke up again, it was because Stiles began to drive.

I was in the back, alone. Scott was next to Stiles and they were quietly chattering about stuff I didn't care about.

I didn't go back to sleep until we were at Stiles's house and had already dropped off Scott. I just couldn't. My mind's basic state was just: danger. Only a few places in the world were where my mind felt at ease. Stiles's place and Derek's. And therefore I didn't wanted to sleep until I was at either of them.

I'd decided to go to their lacrosse game. I'd never seen any other sports game live other than a mandatory volleyball match I had to watch back in Holland. And those guys sucked at it. I hadn't even heard of lacrosse before I met Stiles.

The day went by pretty fast. I was lucky enough not to attract any attention from the teachers who make you read out loud. And I wasn't as stupid as to stand up for someone again.

Allison came up to me during the last hour. "Hey, wanna go to my place before the game?" she asked with a smile. I frowned a bit. It wasn't that I didn't liked Allison, because I did, it was just that I didn't wanted to run into her family.

"Uhm... Okay..." I said still doubting.

She smiled at me and skipped away.

The last hour passed and soon I was in Allison's car on our way to her house.

"Why don't you get a car?"

"Uh... Because I can't drive?"

She laughed "Yeah okay, but why don't you get a driver's license?"

I thought about it. Something was holding me back. A part of me was still convinced that my life here was too good to be true and therefore didn't trust it. "I don't know. I'll think about it."

Once we reached her house I stayed in her car.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Well... the last time I encountered your dad, I nearly died..." I said as I thought back of the Lorem hovering above me to give the final blow.

"First of all, he's sorry for that. Second of all, he's probably not even home yet."

I reluctantly followed her out of the car to the front door. She opened the door. I could hear and smell an other human inside but I didn't recognize the smell. Allison didn't notice anything so I followed her. It wasn't until we'd already reached her room when I realized that Allison is human so therefore couldn't know that there was someone else.

"Hey, who else is here?" I said trying not to make it sound suspicious.

Which obviously made it suspicious.

"No one?" she answered uncertain.

I got in defensive mode and sneaked towards the sound. Allison got creeped out and sneaked behind me. She was making more noise than I wanted her to make but I didn't say anything.

I stopped in the hall downstairs. The sound was definitely coming from the room next to us. I motioned my head to the door to notify Allison. She looked with wide eyes at me but more determined than other times.

Let's find out who it is.
