Parents Day Disaster

*Xavier's Pov*

"What do you mean?" My roommate asked, sitting next to me on the floor

"The cookie he gave me. It was a love spell!" I told him

"How do you know?" He asked

"when we were in the garden he splashed water in my face. It must've washed off then. How could I be so stupid! Why would he ever love anyone like me." I exclaimed hitting my head on the door

"Hey don't call yourself that. He might have had a different reason for putting you under that spell." Aziz told me

"Like what?" I asked

"Maybe he didn't think he was good enough for you so he wanted to ensure that you loved him." He suggested

"Why would he- I already loved him before the spell!" I exclaimed

"Well he didn't know that! Look I'm sure he genuinely loves you. How did he act on your date?" He asked me

"Well.... Before the date even started he defended me against Ambrose. He wouldn't let him take me when he tried to and got me to stand up for myself against him. I felt so safe with Jay there with me. He was also really nice and funny during the date. On top of all that he hasn't used a single wish since he used my lamp." I told him

"Was he the one who gave you the flower?" he asked

I nodded forgetting that it was in my hair.

"Did it feel like he wanted to do something terrible to you?" He asked me

"I guess not." I admitted

"Don't bring it up to him. For now at least. He'll want to break the spell on you eventually as tell him then." He told me

"What would I do without you Aziz?" I asked as he took my hand to pull me up.

"You'd be a hot mess." He told me

"Hey!" I exclaimed

"What? It's true! Anyway you need sleep. Parents day is tomorrow. Did you forget?" he asked me

"Maybe..." I mumbled

He laughed a bit.

"Do you think my dad's going to come?" I asked him

"Go to sleep." He told me not answering

"But-" I started

"Sleep." He told me putting a hand on my mouth

"Fine." I mumbled climbing into bed

*Time Skip*

The next morning I felt someone shaking my arm.

"5 More minutes Gigi." I mumbled

"Kid. It's 11 am. You've slept long enough." A voice told me.

My eyes shot open and I shot up with a huge grin on my face

"Dad!" I exclaimed hugging him

"Good to see you too kid!" He told me.

It had been about two years since I've seen my dad due to him traveling the world.

"What's with the flower?" He asked

"O-oh.... umm...." I stuttered

"He got it from his boyfriend." Aziz called in a groggy voice from across the room.
