Aziz's POV

I laughed as my brother chased me down the halls of the palace. I think I was around four at the time which means that he was around three

"Oh will you boys slow down? You'll hurt yourselves!" My mother scolded us as she held our two year old sister in her arms

"Come on Jasmine let the boys have fun! If they get hurt they'll learn their lesson." My dad told her

"Or they could just not get hurt in the first place." She responded

"Fair enough. Anyway, kids time for bed." He told us

"Aw come on dad let us stay up a bit longer." My brother asked

"Yeah dad." I followed up.

"Sorry kids but you two need rest." My mom told us

"OK." We answered in unison.

"And you sure they're not twins?" Dad asked

"Yes I'm sure that Jay and Aziz aren't twins." She responded with a smile.

Me and Jay glanced at each other and shrugged before walking upstairs. Sometime around three am we heard a scream from Jay's room.

"Aziz stay here." Mom told me as my dad ran to my brothers room.

"What's going on?" I asked

"It's nothing." She told me

"Jasmine you should get down here!" My dad exclaimed

My mom ran off and I followed her. My brothers room was a mess and he wasn't there.

"Aziz wake up!" Someone yelled in my ear, making me jolt up.

I looked next to me to see Xavier rubbing his forehead.

"Ow." He mumbled

"Aw did I hit you in the head?" I asked

"When you jolted up yeah. What were you dreaming about?" He asked, sitting on the bed

"It's nothing." I responded

"Then why are you crying?" He asked

"Because, shut up." I responded

He laughed a bit and shrugged

"Whatever you say. Get ready we're leaving in two hours." He told me

"Alright whatever." I responded, getting out of bed

After we got ready we got our bags (which were only backpacks since all of our stuff is at the palace) and left the room.

"Hey Xavier... about last night. I didn't mean what I said. I'm really sorry." I told him.

"It's fine. I know you were probably really pissed. But if it makes things any better at least he's not going on this trip." He told me looking up at me with a small smile.

"Your not mad?" I asked

"Of course not. Aziz your my best friend. I'm not letting a little outburst ruin our friendship." Xavier responded.

"Yeah. Your amazing you know that?" I asked putting an arm around him

"Damn right I am." He told me leaning into me

"You two sure your not dating?" Mal asked when she saw us.

"Nah. He's with Jay and I don't swing that day." I told her

"Besides that would be like dating my brother." He followed up.

"That's a relief. I was about to mark you down as competition." Jay said from next to us.

"Is that seriously all your bringing? We're going to be there from a week." Evie told him

"I think your forgetting we're going to our home." I told him

"We?" Evie asked

"Yeah. Since my dad's not really around I stay with Aziz with my sister. It's basically my second home." Xavier told him

"Your family you dork." I told him

"Aw you two are so cute." Carlos told us

I rolled my eyes as Gigi joined us.

"What are you loser talking about?" She asked

I blushed slightly as I looked at her and prayed that she didn't notice.

"Nothing much. We were just giving Aziz and Xavier a hard time for being really close." Jay told her

"Oh yeah. Before you came along Jay, people thought Xavier and Aziz were dating. They were practically conjoined at the hip." She told them

"Oh no way people were the same way with me and Carlos and later me and Mal." Evie told her.

"Really?" Gigi asked

"Yeah! It got so annoying." Evie responded.

She and Evie laughed. I swear Gigi is so beautiful. I felt Xavier nudge my arm. He shot me a look and leaned more into me.

"Don't stare at my sister like that. It's a bit creepy." He told me

"Ok students let's get going. We can't keep the sultan waiting." Fairy Godmother said leading us to the bus.
