Caiden P. O. V.

"fuck. I can't nick, I just can't" I say.

The boys are at my house and i am freaking out right now like a girl, cause tonight is my race and Amber's going to be there. Last night she fell asleep halfway through the movie, I switched of the laptop and the lights and made her lie on the bed, writing a note and leaving it on her desk, I left her house.

Amber's going to be there.

What if I lose?

I hand slaps me across the face, I hold my cheek and turn my head to see Blake looking at me furiously.

" SHE IS OUR AMBER. SHE WILL NOT JUDGE YOU AND SHE WILL BE THERE TO SUPPORT YOU "

I look at Blake with shooken eyes, he had never acted up like this.

"okay" I squeak.

"yeah, she'll support you, anyway she likes you why won't she?"

My eyes widen at what he said, and a small smile creeps onto my lips.

"what did you say?"

"'that she'll support you and she li-"

"shit, did I just say that?" he says.

"yeah, you did" Blake says eyes wide like mine.

"oh my God, Amber's going to kill me."
Nick paces back and forth.

"please don't tell her"

"okay" me and blake answer simultaneously.

"you like her too, so don't act surprised, you are more than happy"

"I don't like lik-"

"shut the fuck up, you are like a open book, we know you too well." charlie interrupts me.

"yeah, that's quite true" Blake adds.
Amber likes me.

Its just so weird about how vulnerable, she makes me feel.

It's so foreign to me , all of this.

" Sam, I am going to kill myself, I don't have anything good"

"just wear this, you'll look amazing" Sam says pointing to skinny black jeans and an olive green crop top.

"but it's his first race with me, I need to look good"

"you will rock that"

"and what if he gets injured, what if he acts differently"

" he won't I assure you. To be honest, he'll be overprotective, there are going to be a lot of people who you wouldn't want to meet"

"it's tonight, I am not prepared"

She stands straight infront of me and holds my shoulders firmly and shakes me.

"let the stress out sis, it'll be alright, I have gone to his races, he is the best"

"okay, it's okay. I'll be fine"

It's going to be alright, it's just a race.

Caiden will win.

He will.
