A Sky Full of Stars (Izuku Midoriya x Reader)

Chapter 7

(Y/N)'S POV:

For a few days after, it was the same routine. Go on the train with Todoroki, sit with him at lunch, walk to the station with Ochako, Iida, and Midoriya, and then walk home with Todoroki.

Today you were walking to school, Todoroki on your left. When you arrived at the front gate, there was a crowd of people. You stood there for a second and looked at them.

Some of them turned and saw you two. They started shoving mics in yours and Todoroki's face.

"Are you guys part of class 1A?"

"How is it like having All Might as a teacher?"

"Wait, are you the son of Endeavor?"

You were overwhelmed and just stared with wide eyes, trying to process their questions.

"We're trying to get to class. Please move out of the way." You heard Todoroki's cold voice as he grabbed your wrist and pulling you through the crowd. Once you had room to breath, you turned to Todoroki.

"Thanks! I owe you." you said.

"It's fine, you looked pressured."

"You're right about that. I'm surprised you stayed calm." You noted.

"I'm used to cameras."

We walked inside of the building, Todoroki a little ahead of you. You remembered one of the questions from the reporters.

'Wait, is he the son of Endeavor?'

Huh? You looked at the boy in front of you before speaking.

"You're the son of Endeavor?" You asked softly. You recalled how he avoided the conversation about his parents, so you didn't want to trigger something in him, but you were curious.

"I'm surprised you didn't notice it until now." He didn't sound mad, so you let yourself release the breath you've been holding.

"I guess it make sense now, the name Todoroki sounded familiar, but you just didn't remind me of him at all." You looked up at him. He looked sort of satisfied with your comment, but you weren't sure.

"Let's get going to class." He said.

You guys made it a few minutes before the bell. You sat in your seat and saw Midoriya look up at you. You smiled and waved at him. He waved back and quickly turned around like he didn't want you to see him. You shrugged it off.

Class began and you payed attention to the front. At that point, your class  was participating in a election for class representative.

You voted for Iida. He was responsible enough for the job and he seemed enthusiastic about it. You didn't really want to be class representative, but you wouldn't mind it either.

Midoriya ended up with the most and Yaoyorozu was second. You didn't mind too much since they both seemed pretty reliable. You noticed that Iida only got one vote, meaning he didn't even vote for himself which was strange since he was so enthusiastic about it at the beginning.

At lunch, Ochako asked if you want to sit with them, but you declined saying that you sit with Todoroki at lunch. She looked disappointed, but she smiled and said it was okay.

You then got your lunch and sat across from Todoroki. You took a few bites of your food and was just about to say something when an alarm went off, announcing a Level Three Security Breech. You were confused, not knowing what that meant. Then someone form another class said it means that someone had gotten on school grounds.

You and Todoroki stood up and started walking to the exit. You were just trying to remain calm despite a panic rising through your gut.

As you two approached the hall leading to the exit you got shoved in a massive crowd. At some point, you completely lost track of Todoroki and started to get shoved by the hundreds of people trying to get out. You were powerless against the crowd at this point.

You were about to get pushed on the ground by the stampede, but a hand reached out and grabbed your arm.

You got pulled into someone. You looked at your savior and found yourself looking into emerald eyes.

"Midoriya!?" You shouted.

"Are you okay?!" He yelled back

You nodded. you were still pushed up against him, a little too close for comfort and you couldn't help but be a bit flustered.

You tried to put some distance between you two, not being able to get off because of the mass amount of people crowding you.

Midoriya seemed extremely uncomfortable being so close to you. Not wanting to disrespect his boundaries you tried to get up again, but to no avail as you just slipped down into him, making it even worse.

You heard Midoriya talking to someone above you, but couldn't make out the words.

All of the sudden, you heard a loud noice and turned to see Iida on the wall. He yelled that it wasn't intruders just the press and that we should evacuate calmly, this effectively calmed down the crowd

When everybody started moving back, you were able finally to lodge yourself off of Midoriya.

"Thanks for saving me. I thought I was a goner" You laughed off the awkwardness you felt.

"I-it's fine. I w-wouldn't want you to g-get hurt." he said, a bit of blush appeared on his cheeks.

'Great! Now I made him feel uncomfortable.' You sighed.

"Well, I better go find Todoroki and ask him if he okay. I'll see you after school." you wanted to leave the conversation as the awkwardness set in.

"Oh... o-okay, bye!"

You waved as you walked off to find Todoroki and your abandoned lunch.

Once class started again, Midoriya walked up to the front saying that Iida should be class representative because he handled the whole security situation well. People started calling him 'Exit Sign Iida' and you couldn't help but join in the jokes.
