As I was in my living room working on a paper that is due in two weeks I heard a knock at my door.
When I went to open it I saw Hoseok smiling at me.
"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?" Wow this boy never really gives up does he?
"Umm...why?" I asked looking anywhere but his eyes.
"Well I thought maybe we could get to know each other a little more" he said trying to look at me in the eyes.
"Umm.....well.....I mean....I guess." I said stepping back and opening the door for him to come in.
He walked in and went to sit on my couch. I sat next to him.
"So...what do you wanna know?" I asked still not making eye contact.
"Well, I know where your from, how about your favorite color?"
"Green" I said back.
"Really? Mine too!" I looked at him and smiled at his enthusiasm.
"Ok, what ethnicity are you?" He asked scooting closet and getting more interested.
"I'm Mexican-American" I said back, I guess I would have to make eye contact to keep talking to him.
"That's cool, can you speak Spanish?" He asked.
"Yeah I can." I said back.
"That's dope"

He asked me a bunch more questions and we hung out for what seemed likeb an hour but ended up being like 7 hours.
It was almost 12, "oh hell, it's almost 12" I said looking at my phone.
"Oh, I guess I should get home." He said getting up from the couch.
He walked to the door and turned to me.
"I guess Ill see you tomorrow, it was fun talking to you, let's do it again sometime!" He said all happy.
"Yeah...sure.."
He started going to open the door when he stopped at the handle.
"Hey, isn't this the material they put on things to prevent it from freezing up?" He said pointing to the door handle.
Crap!
"Uhhh, yeah it was here when I moved in....I'm just gonna leave it there..." I lied hoping he wouldn't ask any more questions.
"Oh, ok, I'll see you tomorrow" he said then left.
Dear god, what if he had asked another question, what would I had said?
Gotta be more careful if I see him again.
