*5 weeks later*
When I was in my room doing my homework Julian came in and said he had a question.
"Why do people hurt themselves on purpous?" He asked.
"What.?"
"Well like you know how sometimes you cut yourself? Giovanni does that and I just don't get it... I hate when I accidentally get cut so why would you choose to do that to yourself?"
"Wait, what about Giovanni?"
"He cuts himself."
"Are you sure...?"
"Yes. The other day he did."
"Oh..."
"Why do you do that?"
"Um I guess creating more pain takes away some of the other pain."
"What does that mean?"
"Nevermind Julian, you wouldn't understand."
My brother cuts?? My family really is a mess..
