-Anthony's POV-
I really wish my mom was home more often. She had gone to work late again on Tuesday but of course my dad just had to be home... great.
At around 5:00p.m I asked him if he was going to make dinner so I would know if I had to make something for myself or not. But he took it as that I was telling him that he needed to make dinner and he obviously got mad. He started yelling at me and I just wasn't in the mood to deal with it so I started walking upstairs. I guess then he got pretty mad for some reason and he stormed up after me.
Get the fuck away from me!" I yelled.
It's not like he listened..
He swung at me and I felt my eye throb in pain. Ugh, I hoped I wouldn't have a black eye. He was then yelling at me, but i'm used to it. I'm used to the pain.
Soon enough I was bleeding and had bruises all over me, a black eye, and my arm felt like it was broken.
He was about to punch me again but Giovanni walked out of his room.
"Dad calm down! What are you doing?!" He yelled seeing our dad trying to hurt me. I just froze there.
My dad didn't know what to do, I guess. He just shook his head and went back downstairs without a word.
Giovanni and I looked at eachother.
"Omg are you ok?" he asked,
"Just fine." I said sarcastically.
I went into my room and picked up my phone that had some missed calls.
1 missed call from Emily. My phone started ringing. It was her again.
"Hey." She said.
"Hey Em." I said.
"Is everything alright? You sound upset or something."
"Um yeah i'm fine." I lied.
"Anthony."
"Ok, ok. My dad hurt me. But don't worry about me, please. I'm ok, I promise.
I heard her sigh. "Ok."
"Can we hang out soon?"
"Yes! You busy Thursday, after school obviously?"
"Nope."
"K, see ya then."
"Yep, i'm gonna go though."
"Ok...don't do anything crazy."
"I won't."
"Ok bye."
"Bye."
But I guess I lied, because everything I do is crazy.
