I step outside for some fresh air when my vision flashes:

I'm not sure whats going on, but I'm in the middle of the woods. The wind is blowing strong and the scent of copper fills the air. All animals are sprinting away terrified, finding a place to hide. Something is coming. A storm. A disaster.

I cough as I flash back. I try to shake off what I saw and go back inside. The next morning, around nine in the morning, Scott wakes up. It's kind of unusual for him to wake up so early. I'm making up my bed when I ask, "Have you seen Stiles this weekend?"

"He's been at the hospital with Lydia," he replies.

"Does Lydia know?"

"The real question is if she cares."

He hands me one of my pillows. "What makes you say that?"

"I'm just saying. Stiles goes out of his way to impress her but she doesn't acknowledge it. I don't want Stiles to expect something that won't happen."

After I finish making my bed, I head to the hospital and find Stiles sleeping in the waiting room. A balloon is tied to his chair with a teddy bear. I sigh and stop one of the nurses coming down the halls. "Excuse me how long has he been here?"

She sighs and shakes her head. "All weekend."

I laugh and kneel down next to him. I want to joke with him but his snoring lets me know that what I might have in mind won't work. I simply hold his nose until he snorts awake. He almost fall over but I catch him with one hand on his back. "Scar?"

"Hey, sleepy. Why are spending the weekend at the hospital for Lydia Martin?"

He puts his feet to the ground and shakes his head to wake himself before answering. I sit in the chair next to him and bring my legs to his lap. "Just making sure she's alright."

"Is that the only reason why?"

He tries to play it off by shrugging his shoulder. "I...really can't think of any other reason why. What are you even doing here?"

I lean my head against the wall, realizing how tired I really am. "Trying to find something to do. Derek being an Alpha, Allison going through losing Kate and now she avoids me because she knows what I am. I just want a vacation or something to get away from all the madness, you know?"

He just nods and grabs my hand. "It'll get better. I just know it."

I scoff and nod. I can always count on Stiles to make me feel better in my lowest of times. I can't always go to Scott because I know how protective and overreacting he can be. Stiles knows the things that I tell him need to stay between the two of us. I buy him something to eat before I leave to see Derek.

As I'm walking to my Jeep, a high pitched scream rings in my ears. I wince at the scream banging on my eardrums. "Lydia," I say in a whisper.

I run back into the hospital and see nurses running to Lydia's room. I follow them into her bathroom and see the bathtub halfway filled with clean water, but no Lydia. I look over to see the window wide open. I'm about to walk out but Stiles grabs me by my wrist. He waits until the nurses leave to call the police before he talks. "See if you can see where she went. Like, a vision of a scent."

I put my hand in the water and my vision does flash but I don't see where she went. I see what happened before she left. She was taking a shower and she began to see blood coming from the faucet. Then a bloody hand comes from the water. In reality, there was nothing there. I see her climb out the window and into the woods, naked. The vision stops after that. "Stiles, she wasn't kidnapped." I look up at him and sigh. "She was losing her mind."
