Chapter 40

Tae and Jungkook were curled up under their covers, cuddling and talking.

It was almost a week after they got attacked, Jimin was doing really good, he is already walking around the house. Mostly Yoongi would carry him downstairs for eating but the little omega was pretty stubborn and strong minded enough to walk alone sometimes.

Jungmi was making herself at home, finally really taking her old bedroom back, where she grew up in.  Next week they would have the ceremony to take her in the pack and Jungkook was more than excited to have his Noona back home and her wanting to be part of his pack.

Taehyung on the other hand went to town a few times, looking in the library's for some books that could help them. He did found some but they  only told about the wolf story.

One book said, that omegas are quite strong, that they have hidden powers, and the other one would say, that Omegas are strong but still not enough to kill someone. So that didn't really helped them.

Jungkook was sure, that the whole thing of Omegas being actually strong is true, cause all the omegas he knows, are strong in their own way so it could be true, but that was still not explaining the whole eye color changing thing.

"Did your mother ever told you the name of the man she loved?"

"No... She never said his name... barely talked about him..."

"I really wonder, what happened between them... maybe you're really the son of the man your mother wanted to run away with..."

"I don't know Koo... I don't know if... I want this... I... The whole time I was believing I'm  Kim Taehyung, son of Kim Eunji and Kim Taesung... and now.... everything is telling me that I'm not my dads son... the picture... everyone I'm asking is telling me, that I don't look like him... I... I just... I don't know..."

The door slammed open and Jinyoung came in. Panting hard.

"T..tae.... t..there is someone l..looking for y..you..."

"Huh? for me?"

"Yeah.. She said, she's your grandma"

"What?!", the omega jumped up, excited. He found her, when he was in  the forest, away from everything and everyone. He didn't knew he had a grandma until he met her.

Running downstairs, almost tripping over the last steps, he stumbled outside, completely ignoring his mate calling him. Looking around with big puppy eyes, he finally saw her. Sitting there with his best friend smiling softly at the omega who was enjoying the sunny day.

"Grandmaaa!!!", the omega screamed, running to her. The old lady turned around. Smiling softly at the cute omega.

"Hello Taehyungii, long time no see", she said smiling, taking her grandson in her arms. "How have you been sweety?"

"I'm good, how are you? what are you doing here?"

"I was worried, I heard that you got attacked so I needed to make sure that you're fine, but I guess my worries were not needed huh?"

"Yeah, I'm fine granny, you met Jiminie already?"

"Oh yes, he's really a sweetheart just like you said. Now, where is your stupid mate huh? That didn't bite you back then?"

"E..eh... I guess that would be m..me ma'am", the alpha said, getting all the attention now.

"Well he is really handsome just like you said Taehyungii.. But... Is he treating you good?"

"YEESSS!!! He's the best!!!", the omega exclaimed happily, wrapping his arms around his mate.

"Well then, it's nice to finally meet you, Jeon Jungkook! I'm Kang Eunha, Taehyungiis grandma"
