~Grace POV~

"Oh." Grace murmured when she saw Roman snooping around her house. "You weren't in my room. I thought you left."

"No, I'm still here." He replied, closing the cabinet he had just inspected.

"You weren't scared someone would catch you lurking around?" She asked in surprise. Anyone else would have been petrified to death.

"Well according to my school files, I have a rebellious nature and a callous disregard for authority so...no." He stood in front of her, warily anticipating her next move but Grace knew what was coming. He was already in New Orleans it was only a matter of time before he found out who she really was.

"Just ask." She said in exasperation. "I know you want to."

"This is like a house of horrors." He began. "Creepy grimoires, a million weird knives...Did you know there is just a room full of duplicates?"

"They're my mom's." Grace explained. "She likes to stay ahead of the magic game so she sorta uses them for practice."

"Normal." He muttered, making Grace feel far more awkward than she already did. Noticing this, he took her hand in his and attempted to reassure her into trusting him. "Hey, I can keep a secret. I promise. I've got plenty of my own." She searched his eyes before taking a deep breath as she prepared to reveal her truth. "So, what are you?"

"My name is...Grace Mikaelson." She started, his eyes already widening in shock as he pulled away from her. "My grandmother practically invented dark magic, and my mom's dad created the basis for her to do it. My half-brother is a time traveller, his mom is the current Crescent Alpha. My mom is the true Crescent Alpha, but she's more commonly referred to as The Enigma—the immortal, the vampire, the witch, the wolf and the human. And my dad is...Klaus Mikaelson. No explanation needed."

"So that makes you..."

"The mythical tribrid freak show."

~Fiore POV~

"That girl is dead." I said as I gathered my things and prepared to give my daughter the berating of her life.

"Fiore, maybe you should calm down a second." Alaric said as I pulled out my phone to call Klaus

"Calm down?" I asked angrily, stopping in my tracks. "What she did was so wrong my anger is ineffable! She needs to learn there are repercussion to her reckless actions."

"And I agree but yelling at her isn't gonna do any good." Alaric replied.

"I did not ask for your help in parenting my child." I snapped.

"At least let me come with you." Alaric asked.

"I think you should go back actually; the school probably needs you." I told him with a roll of my eyes. "I mean the way you describe it, the thing bloody falls apart in your absence."

"Fiore—"
"Just go, Alaric!" I said in a huff. "Grace isn't your responsibility to deal with. She's mine."

~Grace POV~

Grace and Roman were now sat down on the sofa as the vampire tried to process the information Grace had just told him.

"So...your blood turns wolves into werewolf-vampire hybrids?" Roman questioned.

"Well, it has done three times now, and you can't deny a trifecta." She told him with an awkward chuckle. "Oh, and my kiss turns princes into frogs. But that theory remains untested."

He shifted in to sit closer to her, moving her hair away from her face, causing the young girl's heart to start thumping erratically as she prepared to receive her first kiss.
