Battle At The Church

After the 2 nun's ran away Y/n freed the Amakusa and was now walking with Esther, Index, Stiyl and the Amakusa's leader Tatemiya.

Stiyl and Index explained why Orsola couldn't be killed right away. Fortunately they can't kill someone who believes in God. Unfortunately they can label her as an enemy of God and execute her.

"It doesn't matter. Unfortunately it doesn't matter now there's nothing that we can do to help." Stiyl says but Y/n grabs his collar

"This is a human life we're talking about. And your saying it doesn't matter." Y/n says wanting to punch him now more then ever while Esther and Index were trying and failing to hold him back

"No, what we're talking about is the Roman Orthodox Church appling their own rules. If we get more involved we would be starting a religious war. Is that what you want?" Stiyl asked knowing the response

"Of course not." Y/n answered but clenched his left fist while he let go of Stiyl 'Dammit I should have seen that they were lying to me but I didn't. how could I be so stupid?'

"Don't worry so much kid. The Amakusa has plenty of reasons to go up against the Roman Orthodox Church." Tatemiya says

"Don't tell me you plan on taking them on yourself?" Stiyl asked

"That's exactly what I'm planning." Tatemiya answered and walked off

"Ok well I guess that handles that." Stiyl says "We should split up and lay low for a while. Once we get back to Academy City, Index will go with you."

"Yeah ok." Y/n says

"Oh one more thing. About that crucifix I gave you during the battle." Stiyl says

"Hm? Oh sorry about that, I gave it to Orsola. She still has it. I hope it wasn't too expensive." Y/n says feeling bad

"...No with something like that the value comes with having it with you. It's ok, our work is done for the night so it's not something you need." Stiyl says and then walks away with Y/n, Index and Esther following him

"Poor Orsola. I should have done something more." Y/n says while Esther pats his back

"You tried Master. You didn't know they were trying to kidnap her." Esther says trying to comfort him

"It's an issue for the magician's to deal with. There's nothing more we can do." Index says

Y/n then walks in complete silence having a small flashback

Flashback

"Dad, what if I want to save someone, but I'm not able to?" A short spiky haired boy asked his father

"Well depends on what you mean. You can be afraid to help someone, or you may not be strong enough to help-" The man says

"No I don't mean being afraid or strong. What if I'm just not able to do anymore then I can." Y/n says

"Well then you have 2 options. You can walk away or you can try and help. You can leave thinking what you've done is enough or you can stay and try to help further. If you're sure you picked the right one then go for it." The man says and pats the kid's head "It's your choice bud, no one else's."

End Flashback

Y/n smiled at the memory, 'I can't walk away, I haven't done all I can. I can still save her, that's my choice! The only time I will walk away is when the battle is over.' Y/n then stopped "Oh I forgot our fridge is almost completely empty. I'll go to the convenience store and buy more food." Y/n says

"Do you even know where the nearest store is?" Stiyl asked and Y/n looked at him like he was stupid and pointed to his nose

"Super senses, nothing can hide from this nose." Y/n says then rushes off 'Not even a nun.' Y/n says in his head and starts sniffing the air for Orsola's scent.
