Dawn's POV
It's been about a month since Christmas. It's 2021, and my birthday! January 23. I wake up, not feeling 18 yet. Wait! I'm officially an adult! I get up and check my phone. Hundreds of notifications from my friends and family saying Happy Birthday. Today for my birthday, I'm going to the amusement park with my friends. Lucas, Addison, Briana, Claire, Dallas, Paddy, Josh, Brad, Adam, Shawn, and Alan. I go to my closet to pick out an outfit.

I head downstairs and go to the kitchen. Surprisingly, Tom and Isabel aren't in the kitchen. I am walking to the living room to find them. I walk in and jump when I hear "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!".
"You scared the crap out of me," I state, hugging my parents.
"Happy birthday Dawn," Tom says. "We have a surprise for you."
"What is it?" Tom hands me a box. I open it and find the new iPhone 11 with a case, some cute clothes, and a makeup bag. "Thanks so much!" I hug them again. Tom helps set up my new phone and I put the case in.

We eat breakfast and I go to Paddy's house. Harry rented a big van, we're carpooling everyone to the amusement park.
"Hey, Harry." I greet.
"Happy birthday Dawn." Harry hugs me. We all get in the car and drive to pick up everyone else. Once everyone is in the van, Harry drives us to the amusement park. The whole drive consists of jokes, laughing, and singing songs at the top of our lungs. During the drive, I open the gifts my friends gave me.
Addison gets me a new AirPods case.
