blackpink comeback: my honest review

I will give my honest opinion on blackpink so if y'all don't like it then you can leave whatever hate comment you want and defend the group but as I said, this is my opinion so please try and respect it however it may be written as.

Honestly, I was actually a bit disappointed with the comeback as a blink because I waited for one year just to watch a 3 minute long music video in which the dance break took atleast 30 seconds away from it.

I don't know what to actually think of this comeback because the music video aesthetics were very good ( isnt it always😍), the visuals were on spot😍🤩 but I felt like as if there was less originality to the song and most of it was just a mash up of kill this love ,ddu ddu du and some other bp music video. The dance was also not that appealing because I thought that it was mainly posing with some movement (got this opinion from a professional dancer, so not my word)

The lyrics also didn't have much meaning to it ( beautiful words but no direction or meaning,).

I wish they could have had a more meaningful comeback but I think I kept my expectations too high because of the amazing teasers and the anticipation that was building up in me.

I did watch the mv a couple of times because the first minute of the song was quite catchy but the chorus part and the other parts after that was sadly not ( I read online that the song was irritating but according to me it wasn't irritating but rather not as great as it deemed to be).

I really believe that bp has so much potential like Rose's voice is quite beautiful, Jennie can rap and sing, lisa's dancing is cute and powerful and jisoo also has a nice voice with amazing visuals (she is my bias❤️ because of her sweet personality). I wish yg would give them a bit more attention because for now they are a bit of an average group with a huge fanbase.

This mv overall is not that great but however I understand why it got 30 million views within the first 8 hours because the graphics and the mv aesthetics were catchy and it is fairly a short video so easy to stream but I thought it to be a bit over rated ( don't hate on me but there were only two good aspects of the mv).

But what got me angry was all the toxic blinks saying that blackpinks comeback is better than bts's comeback, that bts's fame was going down and that they would soon loose all their fans ( I can't believe that I believed this for a second because lately we have been doing pretty bad as an army) and that blackpink would rule the world while bts watched by sidelines. Some of them called bts talentless, useless and some of them even tried to mess up the stay gold mv ( and they succeeded, the same with On). This was actually one of the reason why I almost left the fandom ( the others i will tell in about 5 weeks from now ).

In conclusion, yg could have done better ( can't blame the girls cause they only acted in the mv and sang the song while dancing). The song is over rated but however the mv was beautiful and visuals were on spot. If the song was better then it would've been worth the views.
