Gulf felt a chill go down his spine, which was weird considering he had experienced dead bodies plenty of times since he had become a  medical examiner 4 years ago.

Truth be told he had grown immune to it, not that it was a good thing as his friends liked to point out, but it's what made him catch details others missed.

The truth was he had to grow cold to it, or the images of his parents murder would continue to haunt him every time he had to process a scene.

The chill returned and he stood up from his crouching position next to the body, he felt as if he wasn't alone in the room.

'Ghost? ...Who am I kidding!'He never believed in that stuff and he wasn't going to start today, but the thought of it cause him to smirk, and once again the shill down his spine multiplied the feeling of being watched.

He began to carefully scan the room, slowly, shadows surrounded him as the only place lit was the one where the body had been propped. He focused his eyes on a dark shapes within the shadows and could've sworn someone inhaled..

"GULF IT DOESN'T TAKE A YEAR TO TAKE SOME PICTURES!!" screamed Mild as he walked into the room. Gulf couldn't help but roll his eyes at his best friend and partner.

"We've examined the scene twice I'm sure you haven't missed a thing you robotic psycho " Mild exclaimed, he hated when Gulf had 'a gut feeling' like he liked to call it, because it meant overtime for the both of them , he was lucky he was his best friend otherwise he would have left him here with all the work. He chuckled at his own thoughts.

"Same M.O , this makes it the third victim Mild" Gulf said as he crouched next to the body again

Mild stepped closer and saw the black rose that had been stuffed into the victims mouth.

Gulf carefully turned the body and confirmed the pattern on the nape of the victim. The tiny dots made it unquestionable that this was in fact the third victim, all had been killed by the same person.

He took a close up picture of it.

" It still shocks me how you caught that, the dots are so tiny anyone else would've missed it" Mild said as he began to pick up the equipment.

Being thorough is what made Gulf one of the top medical examiners at such a young age. He had seen the dot on the first victim and found it peculiar, when the second victim appear and he saw that it was now 2 dots he knew the killer was keeping track, which meant he probably had momentos for his killings. Trophies.

Gulf stood up and removed his gloves "We gotta tell the chief. This is officially a serial killer case." He looked at the young victim who's eyes remained opened, frozen in panic staring at whoever had decided to cut her life short.

Hidden in the shadows

His smile had caught him by surprise. Well his smirk, he had hoped to see that smile often since he had met him but then again he didn't get smitten by him for that.

No, when he first saw him, that was a sight to see. Cold, serious, collecting. Drawing in looks and not even noticing the aura he carried. He didn't acknowledge anyone, no one peeled his interest yet he had people turning heads at all times.

He had looked so calm before his master piece, taking it all in admiring it, enjoying it, it's like they spoke the same language. He wanted to continue to see that beautiful face as it took and deciphered everything around him.

His erection was proof that yes he wanted him, and badly. But Gulf's way of looking at his beautiful artwork and the fact that he had caught the smallest detail showed him they were meant to be. Something he already knew from his years of watching him.

A small smile spread across his face as he thought of the next time he would be seeing him. He was glad he had taken this step in their relationship.

The thrill of taking another model a leaving it for Gulf to find was like a path of love letters he was leaving behind for the only person who could read them. His love confession.

When Gulfs eyes had met his in the darkness he couldn't help but take a deep breath, he thought he had seen him ... the way his cock throbbed just thinking about it made his body tremble.

Mild had ruined the moment, but no worries. They would share a new love letter soon, he was an artist and it was time to find a new model!

He took one last glance at Gulf and whispered

"See you soon Kana"
