Gulf looked at the house in awe. It's was beautiful elegant and big. He stepped out of Mild's car and stood in front of it feeling really small.

"Whew! Your man sure is loaded! Look at the size of that thing!" Mild teased.

"Oh!Maybe I could do a story about the rich young detective" Boat teased, Gulf smiled but he felt immense pressure on his chest suddenly, almost as if someone was sitting on it.

"Gulf you look pale are you okay?" Mild asked concerned. Gulf nodded because he didn't think he could muster words, his mouth had gone dry.

The front door opened and he watched a little fur ball run towards him quickly. He smiled widely at the sight of Chopper , he yipped at his feet begging to be picked up. He grabbed him gently and chuckled at his little bow tie "My don't you look dashing today?" He teased "You might just be the most handsome one here" Chopper barked happily at him, he felt the pressure ease, he could breathe again.

"I'll be jealous if you keep complimenting him like that" Mew said standing a few feet away watching the whole thing. Gulf looked over at him and smiled but there was a slight hesitation in his eyes. Why? He closed the distance between them "Is everything okay?"

Gulf smiled, either his poker face was getting really bad or Mew was able to read him like a book now "I'm fine" he lied. He didn't want to talk about the fact that not knowing what they were was really bothering him. Especially the fact that he didn't know if they were exclusive or not.

"Are you going to keep them outside forever?" Nida said from the doorway.

"Them?" Mew finally noticed Boat and Mild standing near by smiling at him. He blushed embarrassed, his eyes had been solely on Gulf , he had forgotten he didn't come alone. "Sorry, welcome"

They walked inside and Nida rushed over and hugged Gulf, he blushed but looked down at her lovingly, he didn't know when it happened but she had sort of stolen his heart and filled in that little sister spot he didn't know he had.

Boat and Mild stared at interaction in shock. Mew smiled at them "Guess she's just that good" he whispered.

"I'm actually his brother and I've never been treated like that" Mild whined

"I've been with Mild for almost 2 years now and the most I get is a glare" Boat teased.

Gulf pulled a small box out of his pocket handing it to Nida.

Nida widened her eyes. Everyone else including Mew was taken aback.

"It's a little something, nothing major" he said softly "I hope you like it"

Nida smiled widely, opening it eagerly , she pulled the bracelet out, the letter V glinted in the light, it hanged from one of the loops and a stethoscope on the next one. She smiled and her eyes filled up with unshed tears."T-Thank you" she managed to choke out.

"Is that Vanida I hear crying?" Zee's voice boomed from the living room.

Nida rolled her eyes, causing them all to laugh. Nida grabbed Gulf's hand and pulled him into the living room.

"Mom!" She called out and the lady sitting across from Zee and Saint looked at them, she glanced at her daughter and then her eyes landed on Gulf. Gulf tensed, he didn't know why but he did.

She got up slowly, gracefully moving and made her way towards him "You must be Gulf?" Gulf nodded and bowed "Hello Mrs. Jongcheveevat" he said politely.

"Oh dear no!Both of my children love you! You can call me mom" Love me? He didn't dare turn towards Mew he couldn't. He nodded "Thank you" he felt a lump in his throat, he didn't know if he could even call her mom without having a mental breakdown and loved was a really strong word.
