Chapter 37

They finished breakfast but this morning Mew had woken up earlier, ran and already taken a quick shower before Gulf was here so he would have no chance to fall asleep.

"I think Chopper is a little depressed from being indoors, I usually take him to the park across the street, do you want to go?" Mew said with his back to him as he washed the dishes. The worse that could happen would be him refusing but at the sound of the words park Chopper had barked excitedly and ran to the door doing little spins as he waited. Man did Mew love that dog.

Gulf watched Chopper do little circles excitedly at the door, he was ready to reject before he saw him so happy. Fuck. He felt bad the dog had been trapped indoors because of him to begin with, a little time outside wasn't so bad anyways right? Actually it may help since he couldn't fall asleep. "Sure" he finally answered.

Mew finished the dishes with a smile on his face. "Okay let me put these away and then we can go" he looked back at Gulf who was playing with Chopper "Will you be okay walking there?" He had been moving around more easily with the brace but that was short distances , Mew wasn't sure it be the same now.

"Yeah. Fine" Gulf said sounding more annoyed than he meant, he was just frustrated he had to limp there.

"Okay" Mew walked towards his room and disappeared, after a couple of minutes he came bag with a bag , he threw some toys in there plus water and some snacks as well as Gulf's meds just in case. "Okay ready! Let's go!" Chopper hopped full of excitement which cause Gulf to smile.

They finally made it to the park after a couple of minutes, Mew had watched Gulf carefully the whole time which had cause him to be way too fucking tense, great just great.

Chopper took off as soon as his little paws hit the ground, he ran around sniffing everything barking happily, Gulf felt himself relax slowly.

Gulf sat on the ground in the blanket Mew had brought for them. He looked around, it was a sunny day, not too hot or humid. He closed his eyes for a moment breathing in the smell of the grass. It reminded him of when he used to play soccer, made him miss it.

"Mew!!" He heard a woman yell, he opened his eyes in time to see her run and jump on him. He caught her easily, Gulf tensed. He shook his head, no, he had no right to feel upset. He closed his eyes again and continued to enjoy the sun.

"Nida are you insane?!" Mew laughed after he had caught her, he set her on the ground gently she had scared him, he looked over to where Gulf was, his eyes closed enjoying the sun. Of course he wouldn't care. She had texted him when they were on their way here to say she was close by and wanted just to say hi. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

"How are the men that I love today?!" She said energetically making sure she was loud enough, Mew oblivious to his sisters intentions. Chopper barked happily at her feet, she crouched down to pet him and peaked under her lashes at the man on the blanket. Wow. He was handsome, shit if she didn't know her brother liked him she would go for it.

"Stop gawking" Mew whispered in her ear, shocking her causing her to jump up and bump into him, the both fell to the ground from their crouching position  and Chopper took this opportunity to jump on them and deliver kisses causing both of them to giggle.

Gulf peaked hearing their laughs the were laying on the grass, Chopper happily licking them "Mew grab the little devil" the girl yelled "he always does this" she giggled. Always? Gulf closed his eyes again. From the little Gulf had been able to see, the woman was beautiful, milky skin, long caramel hair, full lips and smile, almond shaped eyes. Yeah she definitely went well with a Greek God. He smiled bitterly at the image. He began to tense again.

As if sensing his discomfort Chopper perk his ears up and looked at him, he left the giggling siblings and ran to Gulf who still had his eyes closed. Gulf suddenly felt little paws hitting his legs, he opened his eyes to find Chopper looking at him anxiously.

"Huh guess you know me well now don't you?" He whispered to him, Chopper barked in response. He willed himself not to look up at the eyes that were burning holes into him.

"What a smile" Nida whispered to Mew as they sat on the ground watching the exchange between Chopper and Gulf "I think I'm in love" she teased. Mew elbowed her "Ow! You jerk" she complained.

Mew watched Gulf, how was possible he looked so good under the sun like this, he wasn't doing anything special but it had his heart beating a storm in his chest. His dark skinned was complemented so well by the turquoise shirt he had on, his black hair was flowing messily around  his face "Now who's gawking?!?" Nida said. He laughed.

"Shall I introduce you!?" He asked her. Nida smiled, nope that couldn't happen just yet as if on cue her phone rang, she picked it up and turned to her brother "Next time, gotta go" and jumped up and ran away. He frowned. She paused and turned back with a big smile on her face " I love you!" She screamed. "Love you more!" He yelled back chuckling.

She turned and glance over at the man in the blanket, who was now intently staring at her. Bingo! She winked at him and ran off.

She winked? She winked?!?!? He blinked several times confused. He looked over to Mew who was still looking towards where the woman had run off too, yeah he loved her alright. Why the fuck did he feel so annoyed?! And was he invisible why didn't he even try to introduce her to him? Gulf shook his head. Fuck why do I even care.

He stood up all of the sudden having the need to move a bit he grabbed a ball from the bag and threw it to Chopper. He barked happily and went for it and trotted back. He picked it up and threw it again. There was no way he was stupid enough to let the little attraction he felt for Suppasit turn into something else. Right? No, he couldn't. He peaked over and Mew was staring right at him. He felt his heart thump harder. Fuck.

Mew had been watching him distractingly throwing the ball at Chopper, whatever he was thinking about had him furrowing his brow, he watched him pick the ball and throw it again, This time he glanced over at him. Their eyes connected and Mew was sure for a second there he saw that Gulf wanted him. He was so shocked he didn't even hear the yelling at first till Gulf broke eye contact.

"Watch out!!! Watch out! Move!" A lady screamed after a huge cart that was out of control and headed over to Gulf, Mew was up in a flash and running towards him,he quickly hugged Gulf as he tackled him out of the way, they fell to the ground with a thud. He opened his eyes to find Gulfs lips and eyes centimeters away from his. His breath caught, his heart was hammering out of control but he could feel his wasn't the only one.

Chopper whined anxiously next to them, Gulf blinked quickly realizing he was still on top of Mew, he looked around and quickly push away from him. His leg throbbed painfully but he didn't care. What the fuck was that? He had been seconds away from kissing Mew.

"Are you guys okay!?" The lady asked, they looked over the cart had crashed into a tree but neither of them had heard the commotion. Gulf nodded cause he wasn't sure he could speak. "Yes we're okay, thank you" Mew answered as he stood up. He reached over to help Gulf but Gulf didn't think his knees would fucking work right at this moment. So he looked away from him to the brace it was really hurting now.

"Is it hurting?" Mew asked crouching by his side, he nodded "Okay let's go home, I think that's enough for today" he helped Gulf up over to a bench and began picking up everything. Gulf was lost in his thoughts and completely confused.

From a distance Nida watched with a big smile on her face she had panicked when she saw the cart almost hit them, but seeing their reaction after was worth not giving herself away. Yeah he liked her brother as well, she had seen it, so now she had no problem in helping him realize it and admit it.
