🛑Trigger Warning / Depression/ Death 🛑

Mew walked into his office frustrated.

"Mew!!" A frantic Mild came bursting in "What's going on?! Please! They won't let me see Gulf and no one tells me anything!" His lips quivered.

Mew looked at him and sat down. "Mild its complicated. Because of how close you are to Gulf I'm not sure I should be telling you anything"

Mild glared at him. Mew sighed if looks could kill, he would probably be dead over 5 times today.

"Jimmy Karn is dead" he saw the shock register in Mild's face "Murdered actually" than he saw the confusion.

"So? What does that have to do wit-" he stopped, it clicked "when did he die?"

"Saturday / Sunday " Mew said leaning forward "after leaving the bar" Mild shook his head, Gulf would never do this why was he being treated like this and specially for a piece of shit like Jimmy.

"Gulf didn't do it!" Mild shouted angrily.

"I know Mild" Mew answered calmly he understood the frustration Mild felt. "It's just that with Jimmy fighting with Gulf that night and Gulf having no alibi for almost 18 hours, he's the perfect suspect"

Mild fell into the chair in front of Suppasit "This is it" he mumbled , Mew looked at him confused "This is what is going to push Gulf over the edge. I'm never getting him back " Mild's tears starting to spill "He had finally opened up to me yesterday, he had decided he was going to try..." Mild sobbed "This will ruin everything " he cried.

Mew felt his heart clench. He would like to deny it , to tell Mild they would fix it but he had seen Gulf, or the shell that was left of him. He had seemed so empty. Mew buried his fingers in his hair.

"He is in there alone, being accused of being a murderer" Mild whispered "he is being accused of being the one thing he hates the most in his life, he is being compared to someone like the man who killed his parents " Mew widened his eyes at the statement.

"No Mild it's not lik-" Mild shot up from his seat.

"You don't know him like I do! That's exactly what he's thinking, he thinks people see him just like the man that killed his parents" and with that he rushed out of the room.

Mew stood up and followed "Mild!" He called after him but Mild just kept running to the interrogation room, No he wouldn't allow Gulf to go back he couldn't! Not when he had tried so hard to save him.

He made it to the interrogation room when the same detective from earlier stopped him

"You can't see the suspect" before Mild knew it his hand had slapped across the detectives face

"Back the fuck up!!!" He growled "I will see my brother NOW!"

The detective was shocked and angry he took a step forward.

"Let him see him" Mew's voice called stopping him on his tracks. The man frowned.

Mild walked in and closed the door. Mew went into the other side and locked the door watching through the mirrored glass.

"Gulf?" Mild said and Gulf turned to look at him he saw the tears in his eyes and knew he was the cause. "Suttinut" he said calmly

Mild pulled a chair next to Gulf and looked him in the eyes. "We'll get through this you know, just one more bump on the road" Mild said struggling to keep his voice from breaking. Gulf smiled at him, a smile that didn't touch his eyes, empty.

"Its okay" he said turning away  staring blankly at the table "I don't care anymore" the words cut through Mild like a knife. Mew felt his fear intensify.

"I'm tired" Gulf said, Mild grabbed his hands and was shocked to feel how cold they were "I'll ask if I can take you home so you can rest"

Gulf shook his head "No Mild, I'm tired" he repeated and Mild felt goosebumps "I don't want to do this anymore" Gulf said it so calmly it scared Mild even more.

"Gulf?" Mild said almost in a whisper.

"I just want to be with mom and dad, that's it" he said smiling softly, he closed his eyes and fear gripped Mild's heart "I should've been with them from the beginning"

Mew felt like he'd been punched in the gut. He couldn't breathe. Was he hearing this right? Gulf wanted to die?

"Kana..." Mild said voice trembling "you know very well Auntie didn't want that, she told you to live for her, are you gonna give up?!"

"Live what?" Gulf asked, he opened his eyes but there was no warmth in them, it's like the light had been snuff out "live a life full of anxiety and fear, full of dark thoughts, continue to just exist, taking up space? No Mild" he squeezed his hand " I'm just a simple star in this huge universe" he smiled "it won't make a difference if my light stops shinning now"

Mild knew this may backfire but it was his only hope. He may hurt him more with this but he needed to snap Gulf out of his dark state. He couldn't allow him to give up on himself , on life.

"So you're just going to give up now and allow for aunties and uncles life to be lost for nothing?!" He said it forcefully and angrily. Gulf looked at him. Come on Gulf, come on, come back to me. "You are just going to allow for their lives to be lost in vain? Is their sacrifice not enough for you to continue?!" He hated doing this but he felt he didn't have a choice. "Are you going to allow for that man to control you forever even though he's dead?!?!" Gulf blinked again and Mild saw a spark. Yes! Come on Kana wake up!

"I thought you were a Traipipattanapong?!" Mild let go of Gulf hand fearing this would not work. "Guess I was wrong" he got up and walked out leaving Gulf alone.

When the door closed Mild collapsed on the other side covering his mouth, he felt terrible but he had no choice if Gulf didn't fight for himself it wouldn't matter how hard they did.

Mew had watched the whole thing and felt he had been torn to pieces he knew why Mild did it and he knew how much it must've cost him to do it. He watched Gulf in silence holding his breath watching him stare at the door Mild had just walked out of.

As if sensing him there Gulf turned and looked right at him. Mew flinched. Than he remembered it was a mirrored glass. He saw Gulf looking, staring intently at his reflection. He chuckled, which then it quickly turned into a laugh , and then he was crying.
