Zee was laying with his head hung back on the couch the current pounding on his head was enough for him to want to die, but the confusion he currently had in his heart, or at least what he thought it was, was even worse.

This was exactly why he had never wanted a serious relationship, its why he had never allowed for himself to ever feel anything for anyone or vise versa. He hated this with a passion.

His phone beeped but he ignored it. He didn't want to talk to anyone or see anyone today, he was here cause it was his job and he couldn't quit on life because of a hangover and much less over the drowning feeling he currently had.

"Aren't you going to check that?" Mew asked from his desk where he had been glancing over at his friend, he really wasn't used to this Zee, he had always been so carefree, so straightforward this was brand new to him and if he felt this awkward about it he could imagine how much harder it was for Zee

"No, I don't want to do anything today" Zee said eyes closed head hanging back. "What if it's Saint?" Mew retorted

"Pfft, I would kiss you if that was true, if he wanted to talk to me he wouldn't have left me behind like he did, or at least would've reached out to me after, don't you think?" he sighed, he hated he sounded so whinny, maybe this was for the best.

Mew got up and walked over to where Zee was, he picked up his phone from the coffee table in front of the couch, he glanced at the screen and smile. "I rather you didn't kiss me, I don't see you that way Pruk" Mew said chuckling.

Zee opened his eyes and looked at his friend,he was holding his phone "If you're playing with me , I will fucking punch you in the throat Suppasit" he warned, Mew lifted his brow and shrugged "Okay then suit yourself, don't regret it afterwards" he put the phone down and went to take a seat again glancing over at Zee, who was looking back and forth between him and the phone.

He finally gave up and picked up the phone, he saw Saint's name on the screen and looked at Mew. He opened the message.

Can we talk? It is important. I mean if you want to, if not its fine. – Saint

Zee read it over and over again, he felt like a stupid teenager with the way his heart started to thunder in his chest. He looked up at Mew who was watching him carefully "He wants to talk.." he blinked again "Should I tell him to meet me now?"
Mew wanted to laugh, Zee looked scared which was look he didn't see on him often.

"No, meet up with him later, tonight." Zee looked at him confused "That way you guys can have more privacy, do you really want to have that kind of talk here at work?" Zee nodded and replied.

----

Saint had been pacing back and forth ever since he had sent the message, it had been way over 5 minutes. Maybe he didn't want to talk any more, maybe he was done with him, maybe he hated him now.

"Would you stop it, I can see you practically smashing your head against a wall right now" Mild said keeping his eyes on the case file he was working on. Gulf looked up at Saint who was still pacing back and forth drowning in his own thoughts.

His phone beeped, all three glanced at the phone on the table.

Mild looked at Saint who seemed hesitant to open it and grabbed the phone "Hey!" Saint protested but Mild just ignored him, he opened the phone and glanced back at Saint who was now frowning.

"He doesn't want to see me right? He's done with me?" he sighed "I knew it"

"Yeah you're right" Mild said "guess it really hurt him when you left him there after pouring out his heart" Saint watched Mild's face who was completely serious.

He sat down on the chair with a thud "I fucked up" he said "he hates me now, and i.." he trailed off " I like him.." he finally said. Mild smiled widely. "Good cause he wants you guys to meet tonight to talk, he said it could be dinner or drinks your choice, so what's it going to be?"

Saint looked at him wide eyed "What?!?!" he stood up walking towards Mild "I thought you said..." Mild smiled at him "well now you know how you really feel so you can stop confusing both him and you"

Saint grabbed the phone and read the message. It was true, he did want to see him, he did want to talk. He replied quickly before he lost his nerve. He smiled when he got a quick reply.

Later that afternoon

He had a smile plastered on his face ever since this morning, finally being able to be next to him with no restrictions was the best decision he had ever made.

He looked around the café and his eyes landed on his next mark, as if feeling his stare, she turned and smiled at him, he blushed and looked away embarrassed. They loved that, all these stupid women loved the fact that they could make him shy and blush and it made him even more approachable.

He was just waiting for her to approach him; he had been eyeing her for almost 2 weeks now. He always picked them when he knew the prior one's time was close, it made things easier for him. He had been dropping his subtle hints like he always did.

The looks, the stares, the small shy smiles, the getting caught looking. He already knew she was interested, the amount of times she stopped by the café had already increased and sometimes she came and didn't even order anything she just sat at the back of the café reading a book while stealing glances at him.

He was so giddy with everything he wanted to kill her now. He wanted to feel the satisfaction of watching her eyes go wide in shock and dull as death overtook her. He felt like a king every time someone died by his hand. Their life's depending on him, on his will. He couldn't help the itch he had, almost an urge now to have someone die by his hands, and the best part of it all was he was going to be able to watch his Kana without having to hide in the shadows again.

He glanced up again with the smile on his lips, he saw her stand and walk towards him. Bingo! She was making the first move, they were all the same, thinking their coquettish smiles and flirty eyes could get them the world.

"Hi" she said in a breathy voice. He wanted to strangle her.

"He-Hello" he said allowing for his shy persona to take over, he was good at that, at hiding the killer in him.

"Hi, so I don't know if I'm being too straightforward, but I wanted to know if you were single?" she said smiling widely at him.

Stupid bitch if it weren't because he needed her to complete his confession, he wouldn't waste time with this trash. He blushed glancing down and scratching the back of his neck, making sure she got a good view of his biceps "I- I am" she bit her lip and looked at him seductively.

"Would it be okay if I asked you for your number?" she said leaning in a little towards him.
He blushed again, this one he was going to really enjoy killing, she was practically wanting to jump into his arms now, disgusting. He had already bought a new burner phone, so he was ready for this. He took it out of his pocket "It's a new phone my previous one broke, I don't know the number y-yet , you ca-can enter your number" the girl smiled at him.

She grabbed the phone from his hands brushing his fingers along the way. She smiled "How cute, kittens as your cover" she said smiling, she entered her number and called her phone to save his number "what do you want me to save your name as?" she asked him, he had a star over his name tag so she wasn't sure what his name was.

He smiled at her "You can save me as Thana" he said flashing her his flirtiest smile and blushing right after. She smiled at him again and realized someone was behind her waiting in line. She turned back to him "Okay Thana, you already know I'm Lawan but you can call me whatever you like" she winked and walked away.
