lie down next to me
in the pale, cool grass
see what I see.
I can feel the planets spinning all at once
I can feel the stars burning and dying
I can feel the sun as it flickers and blazes
I can feel the pull of the moon as she dances across the night sky
I can feel the softness of night
I can feel her calmness
I can feel her crisp, clear breathing in the air
I breathe her into my lungs
and sigh
for I know I am truly alone
and I am content with that
in the darkness
