Colby's pov

"Daddy" Sam said and shook me awake I rub my eyes and I here sniffling and I sit up "oh Sammy what's wrong" "I-i h-hurt" "oh baby I'm sorry where does it hurt" "m-my stomach and ribs" "oh I'm sorry" he clutched his stomach I press the button "baby someone will be here soon" "d-daddy" he whined "I know baby I know" someone walks in "what's wrong" "he's I'm pain" "do you know where" "he said is stomach and ribs" "ok I'll be back" he leaves and Sam let's out a sob and I rub his back and he leans into me "baby it's ok shhh" "m-my stomach h-hurts" "I know baby" the doctor comes back in "here's some pain pills and an ice pack for his stomach" "ok thank you" he nods and leaves I grab a pill and a water "here baby take this" he sits up and takes the pill and drinks some water and gives the water back to me "ok baby lay down" he lays down and I cover his bottom half "baby can I lift up the gown to see your stomach" he nods and I lift it up "oh baby" his whole stomach is bruised I put the gown back down "baby do you want the ice pack" he nods and I put it on his stomach and I lay back down next to him and he rests his head on my chest "I'm sorry baby" I play with his hair I check the time and it's 2:45 "baby let's go back to sleep" "o-otay" I kiss his head and he nuzzled closer with a slight wince and I continue to play with his hair until I hear snores and go to sleep myself

I wake up to the door opening and it's a doctor "sorry to wake you sir but he's allowed to go home tomorrow" "ok thank you sir" he nods and leaves I grab my phone and it's 11:00 I go through my Instagram and I text the group

Colby- he gets to leave tomorrow and once he wakes up I'll ask if you guys can come

Sam stirs a bit and I look down and his eyes flutter open I smile and he sits up "morning baby" he groans "morning" I sit up and stretch "you get to leave tomorrow" "finally" I chuckled "oh also the others still want to see you" he sighs "yeah they can come today" I smile "oh here's your phone" "oh thanks" I nod and text the others

Colby- you guys can come

Tara- I'll be there soon

Devyn- same

Jake- me too

Corey- I'll be there too

Aaron- I'll be there too but later

Elton- I'll come a bit later as well

Colby- ok sounds good

I put my phone down "they're coming but Elton and Aaron will be here a little later than the others" he relaxed a bit "ok but I have to pee" I chuckle "ok you can go" "where is it" "across the hall you'll see a sign once you open the door" "ok" he gets up and goes to the bathroom I go on my phone and I get a text

Tara- me and Jake are here

Colby- that was fast

Tara- yeah..

I chuckle a bit and there's a knock on the door "come in" Tara and Jake walk in "he's in the bathroom" "ah ok" Jake says they sit down and Sam walks in "Sam!" Tara yells and gets up "hi Tara" she hugs him and he groans she pulls away "sorry" "it's ok" Tara sits back down "oh hi Jake" "hi Sam" Sam sits down with a small groan "you ok" "yeah my stomach is all bruised up" we talk for a bit more and there's another knock on the door "come in" Devyn walks in "hi Sam" "hi Devyn" "Corey's in the bathroom" we all nod she sits down and Corey walks in "hey Sam how are you" "hi I'm ok" he nods and sits next to Devyn and we all talk. And hour later there's another knock "come in" Aaron walks in "hi Sam" "hi" Aaron sits down and we fill him in on Sam and we talk again about 30 minutes past by and there's another knock "come in" Elton walks in "ah fuck" Sam groans in pain "oh Sam are you ok" Elton asks "shit" he clutches his stomach I grab a pain pill and a water "Sammy here" he grabs them and takes it and clutched his stomach again and groans again "are you ok" Devyn asks he just grunts "do you want a doctor" he grunts again so I press the button anyway "has this happened before" "yeah lats night at 2 his stomach and ribs are giving him pains but the pill worked before" the door opens "h- woah Sam are you ok" it was Colleen he grunts again "I'll take him to the x-ray to see what's happening" "ok" I help Sam out if bed and out the door "is he a little still" she whispers "no he's not" Sam groans "ok I'll go now" I nod and walk back in "dude is he ok" "he should be"

Sam walks back in eating a pudding I chuckle "Sam are you ok" Elton asks he looks up "y-yeah" he walks to the bed while eating the pudding and Colleen walks in "it was another pain thing he's ok but if it happens again give it time after he takes the pill if it still doesn't go down press the button again" "ok thanks Colleen" she nods and leaves I look at Sam and he's still eating the pudding "dude why are you acting like nothing just happened" Jake said Sam giggled "nothing really happened" "what do you mean" "at first it hurt like hell but as soon as I left the room I was fine and I just wanted a pudding" he shrugged "what do you mean you were fine you kept groaning" I said he giggled "I know those were fake" "why did you fake groan" Aaron asked "like I said I wanted a pudding" "Sam you had me worried!" Tara exclaimed "we all were" he giggled "sorry" he shrugged and threw away his garbage I chuckled.

"Oh when I got beat up who stopped it" Sam asked "you didn't see" I asked "no I was in too much pain and overwhelmed I just blocked everything out" "well it was Elton" he went wide eyed I chuckled "t-thanks" "yeah no problem also I don't think he'll come back" "whys that" I asked "I may or may not have broken his nose and jaw and threatens to kill him if he did" "that's overprotective uncle Elton for you" I chuckled and Sam giggled "wait you broke his nose and jaw!" Corey asked "no?" We all laughed and continued talking

Everyone left except for Jake, Tara and Elton and we were talking and Tara yawned "well I think that's our que to leave" Jake said "ok bye guys" "bye" and they left the room and we talked for a bit "I'm going to the bathroom I'll be back" Elton said and left the room Sam sighed "what's wrong" "I've been fighting all day to not go in little space and it's getting hard to stop it" "why don't you go in it" he shrugged "Elton already knows doesn't he" he nodded "then why not do it" "I don't know" "you don't have to if you don't want to" he nodded and Elton walked back in and sat down and we started talking again. "Oh Sam I don't know if anyone explained why we did what we did but we really didn't want to" he sighed "why did you do it" he explained how Brennen forced them too "oh.. why didn't you do what Devyn did" "what do you mean" "not physically hurt me she never did" "he also forced us to Devyn just never had the heart to actually hit you she really wanted to be your friend she'd even try to talk to you but Brennen would always stop her" he sighed again "why'd you" he stopped "why did I hit so hard?" Sam nodded and Elton sighed "well back then I had anger issues but it's better now and I can control it I promise I didn't mean to and when the others would tell me what I did I felt bad. when that happens I pretty much black out and I keep going and can't stop" "ota-" he covers his mouth me and Elton chuckle "it's ok Sam" Elton says "god dang it" his little voice is back I chuckle and smile "did I trigger it" Elton asks "no he's been fighting it the whole day" "why not everyone knows" "not Jake and Tara" "ah" Sam giggled and we look over at him and he has a jello cup "where's you get that" he giggles again and starts eating it I chuckled and me and Elton start talking. "Daddyyyy" Sam whined "what Sammy" I look over "I done" I take the cup and throw it away i hear a can open and Elton took one of my energy drinks "uncle Elton!" I fake pout Sam giggles "uncle elty!" Sam mocks me and my movements "aw" Elton cooed and chuckled a bit Sam giggled "why am I getting yelled at" "you took my energy drink" "oops" "whatever" Sam giggled "I'm going to the bathroom" "otay bye bye"

I walk back in and Sam has a cookie "Sammy" he looks up and hides it "yeah daddy" I chuckle "Elton did you give it to him" "nope" Sam giggled "Sammy" he giggled "did he" he giggled "no" "so you took it" I said fake angry "no no daddy he did don't be mad at me!" I chuckled "Sam!" Sam giggled "oopsie" he took a bite of the cookie I sat down "I swear I can explain!" Elton said "yeah then explain" "I um he took it!" "What!" Sam yelled "Sam" "daddy I didn't I pwomise!" "You sure" "mhm" "ok fine I don't care" "are woo mad" I chuckled "no" "otay" he finished his cookie I turned to face him "umm daddy wh-" I started tickling him "s-top daddy stop it!" I stopped and Elton came over and he started tickling him "elty stop!" "s-stop it elty" he stopped and Sam sat up "don't" he pointed at us we put our hands up "we won't" he squinted at us "bwetter not" we chuckle and I start tickling him "DADDY! no s-stop!" Elton joins in "o-otay guys s-stop!" "o-owie guys s-stop i-it hurts!" We stop instantly and he sits up "Sam are you ok" he giggles "stop it" we chuckle he squints and we put our hands up again "we won't this time" "otay" he says still a bit suspicious we laugh a bit and we start talking or more like Sam talking and telling random stories

"Ok I think it's time for me to get going" I nod and he gets up "bye bye elty" "bye Sam" and leaves "so you ok with him now" "yep" I nod and Sam yawns "let's get some rest yeah" "mhm" he nods and yawns again I chuckled and lay down and he lays down too "goodnight baby" "night daddy"
