Preeti's point of view

Everything is mess up. I have done deeds to save Siddharth and now he himself going away to me. I don't know what is going inside his head or what he is feeling right now but it is effecting our relationship. But I know one thing, it's not his fault.

When I woke up this morning Siddharth wasn't beside me. He went to office early on the morning before I could wake up. I found a note stick on the fridge in which he wished me 'All the best' for my interview.

So much going around us that it's hard to tell which one is at fault. Every single person have their own secrets. Keerti hides about her and James to everyone. Siddharth have his own secrets and I myself hiding a murder. Don't know where these things taking us but I want everything went back to normal.

"Ma'am we arrived." Andrew stop the car in front of the building where I came for the interview for the accountant head. Andrew opened the door for me and I stepped outside from the car.

I took the token from receptionist and waiting in the waiting room with other candidates. There are more than hundred candidates who applied for the job and other more than hundred of candidates who applied for the clerk post.

We have to clear three rounds to get the job. First is written exam, second is financial techniques round and then interview. We have an hour to prepare ourselves before the rounds start. I already checked my all documents, the day before so I am free now. I took the random business magazine and started reading it.

I am a little bit nervous because I am giving an interview after months and this is my first interview in U.S.A. 'The most powerful country in the world' So it's natural to be nervous.

"Can I sit here?" I was reading the article of Siddharth's company when I heard someone's voice near me. I raised my head from the magazine and a beautiful Indian girl, dressed in formal clothes, standing in front of me, asking me to sit with me.

"Yes, Please.." I nodded my head while giving her a small smile.

"Thankyou.." She took a sit beside me and put her handbag on her lap.

"Hey, my name is Anshika...Anshika Gupta. You can call me Annu." She introduced herself with a cheery smile and extend her hand for a hand shake.

"Preeti..Preeti Siddharth Kapoor." I shake my hand with her.

"You are married..?" She asked and I nodded my head as yes.

"Well..I am pretty single. I graduated from here in New York university and now trying my luck in this firm. My whole family lives in India and I am the first member in my whole family who studied outside from the India. So do you live here or for a job purpose you came U.S.A." She asked me.

"My husband is an American." I said with a soft smile.

"Oh! It's good if both husband and wife work. It helps in bills otherwise it's really tough to survive in this expensive city." She said and I nodded my hand in understanding.

Anshika is a friendly person and easy to go with. She could be friend with anyone, just opposite of me. I like to be friend of someone but I don't mend up in friend group easily. I took me a time to feel comfortable with someone.

"So which post do you applied?" She asked.

"Accountant head. I already had a experience in this field so I think now it's time to lead the team." I replied her question.

"I applied for the clerk post. I just graduated so it's good for me if I start from the below and gain experience." She said.

"Yes, It's good if we start from the start." I said while thinking about Siddharth and my relationship.
