TAKE IT BACK.

"I needa go find my husband."

Underneath the dim lighting, Cookie looked the overly confident milk dud up and down with amusement. I won't chase you, Cookie. You have to come to me. Cookie's lips twisted. Why did she find herself fascinated by the man? Entertaining his little games? She spun on her heels and sauntered away, sassily, if she continued to play with fire, eventually, she was gonna get burned. She didn't even find Damon attractive! But she liked the attention. It's more than what Lucious is offering, right now. She thought, bitterly, with rolling eyes. Her husband was more concerned with his precious little Empire and his bastard son. Rewrite our story, my ass. Cookie scoffed at her husband's all too predictable actions. He'd so thoughtlessly put dirty money into a charity meant to represent a new, clean chapter in their marriage without any regard for her feelings, or their relationship whatsoever. Lucious hadn't even bothered to consult her about it, dammnit! So much for being 'equal partners'.

As she sauntered down the corridor, bobbing her head to the loud music blaring out of the speakers as the crew celebrated a successful first night of touring, Cookie relaxed her shoulders and thought about how good she and Lucious' marriage had been going, aside from their current bumps in the road. She loved the stupid man, and she knew he loved her despite his slightly selfish ways. She knew the man she married wasn't a saint, nor was he selfless the majority of the time. Cookie supposed she needed to stop holding him to a higher standard now she wanted to better herself. Lucious wasn't perfect, and neither was she.

She smiled when she heard his mumbled voice through the metal door and pushed it open. Maybe he could get a little nookie since Cookie now found herself in better spirits. The wide smile immediately dropped from her face when she took in the compromising position her husband and Treasure were in. That fuckin' skank. Cookie couldn't focus on the words leaving her husband's lips as her eyes blurred a furious red. She had taken a chance on this bitch, and this is how she repays her? Spreading her legs for her husband?

"You dirty bitch!" Cookie yelled as she leaped for Treasure, grabbing her by the hair to swing her skinny little body like a ragdoll. "I should've kicked yo' ungrateful ass to the curb!" Treasure's screams fell deaf on Cookie's ears as she furiously delivered blow after blow. The fists stung but her adrenaline was pumping. Cookie should've known Treasure's unloyal vocal cord having ass wasn't too be trusted the minute she jumped ship to Empire when Giselle offered a little money. "You gold-digging slut!" She sneered.

"Cookie! Cookie, stop!" Lucious yelled as he snatched up his wife and dragged her off of the crying girl, bleeding and shaking from the beating. Seething, Cookie immediately jerked her body away from his before slapping Lucious' hard across the face with narrowed eyes...if looks could kill. Her chest rose up and down, angrily, as waves of fury rolled off her body. "It's not what you think!" He swore as he touched his stinging cheek. "Treasure, get the fuck outta here!" He demanded, sharply, glaring at the cowering artist.

"You betta get yo' hoe ass outta here before I beat yo' ass again, bitch!" Cookie added, pretending to lunge at the girl. Treasure hightailed it out of the dressing room instantly, slamming the door behind her. Cookie took in a shaky breath as the scene she walked in on replayed in her mind...over and over again. How could he? She thought as she walked to the dresser and pressed her hands down on the cold wood, as she attempted to regain a calm composer. Lucious' calls of her name fell deaf on her ears, and he smartly knew better than to approach her. "How could you do this again?" She questioned, lowly, as she flexed her cracked knuckles, burning in pain. She'd given that little girl a good ol' Philly whoopin' that would have her shivering in her sleep for months. Grabbing a glass cup, she lobbed it in the direction of her husband's head. "How could you do this again?!" she screamed.
