Louis and Harry sat there in silence, both were unsure of how to react until Louis said: "Silence, really do be overrated."
Louis and Harry giggled, and Harry relaxed. "Doesn't seem like it scared him away.", he thought.
Louis: "I'm really happy that I wasn't the only one that wrote a song about us. Oh, that sounded weird. Ähm... I mean you know about what we had."
Louis blushed and looked at the table to avoid eye contact. Harry knew that he had to comfort and reassure him and he knew how, and although he feared to be rejected he had to risk it. He had to make sure that Louis felt his support. So he reached out and took Louis hands into his own. He gentle squeeze them and drew circles onto Louis's hands. Louis relaxed and looked into Harry's eyes. Harry smiled at him and he couldn't help but smile back.
Harry: "I really missed talking to you. I... I feel so comfortable around you. Even after all these years. And I was so happy when you texted me. ... I mean I was also confused. It's not every day that your ex sends you a song, but I was just happy to talk to you."
Louis: "To be honest I was so embarrassed when I realised that I send you a song. Well, that song. But I enjoy talking to you. We should, no."
Harry: "What should we do?"
Louis was scared to say what he was about to say.
Louis: "You know maybe if you don't mind, we could become friends again?"
Harry smiled, his eyes sparkled. He looked like a child on Christmas morning. Louis felt reassured and couldn't stop but smiled just as big.
Harry: "Well, you know, I think I wouldn't mind being friends." Harry said teasingly.
It was in that moment that Harry realised that he was still holding his friends' hand. He got a bit nervous and embarrassed, blushed, and separated their hands.
Harry: "Since we are friends again ..."
Harry wanted to say some more but Louis interrupted him.
Louis: "Please don't say that ever again. It sounds like we are Pre-schoolers that just made a new friend and need to tell everyone that we are friends and we should be past that. That's something that Freddie would to." Louis laughed.

Harry laughed: "I just wanted to say that we have some catching up to do. So let's start with Finn how is he?"
Louis: "He is doing great. He is already so big, it's so amazing to see him grow up and like learn so many new things it's crazy."
Harry: "Does he live in London or how to you arrange the co-parenting?"
Louis: "I have a place in LA. Cause my baby boy Finn lives in LA, so I kinda just bounce between the two. And try to get a bit of work done as well in between."
Harry: "Does he have your beautiful singing voice or your football talent? Or what does he like to do?"
Louis: "I'd love him to play football. But at the end of the day, you know, if he's my son he will do what he wants to do. So I'm just gonna let him do it."
Harry: "So he has your authority?"
Harry smiled at Louis.
Louis: "Yeah." Louis smirked.
Harry: "When did he start to talk?"
Louis: "At 18 months he said a few word here and there."*
Harry: "If he has your sass his first words were probably "fuck you" or something." Harry smiled even wider.

Louis: "No man it was like, car, dada, ball, dog."
Harry: "Make sure he gets a Donny accent though, it's so cute."

Harry couldn't help but notice how Louis' face lite up when he asked him about Finn. He really started to shine. If Harry didn't know better, he would think that Louis was pregnant. But to see Louis so happy fulfilled him. He always knew that Louis would be a great father and although he was a little butthurt when Louis announced that he would be a dad, Harry had always been happy for him, because he knew that being a dad would make Louis happy. Louis' happiness was always Harry's priority.
