Chapter 10

While you and Keigo were walking to Rumi's house from the school, Keigo decided to lift you up into his arms and hold you close while he flew, you felt safe in his arms, you were happy and warm. You wished you could be in his arms forever just to be safe, but sad feeling of not happening changed your mind. As you stop thinking in your head you rested your head on his chest to which you noticed his heart beating went faster once your head made contact with his chest, you wondered why though. Ignoring the situation until Keigo landed and placed you on your feet again, seeing he arrived at Rumi's house, grabbing the key out of your bag and unlocking it for you and Keigo to enter. 
As you walked in, you went straight into the guest room as to where you slept last night, got changed into something more comfortable before coming out to see Keigo standing with his coat, gloves and glasses off. You could see his muscular arms and back from behind, you couldn't help but love the view until he turned around "Hey kid, like what you see? Haha" you blushed and shook your head "N-no just zoned out for a moment" walking passed him to go to the kitchen for a drink of water "Riiight".

When you both decided to sit in the lounge room your thought's went straight into what happened today "K-Keigo" he hummed as a response while drawing his attention went from his phone to you, putting it down fully and making eye contact with your frame "W-what's going t-to happen to me n-now?" "What do you mean what's going to happen to you?" "Well, what if something goes wrong? What if you and everyone else won't be strong enough to protect me? Who know's who this person could be that wan't to kill me, we don't even know if they are very powerful and have people to fight pass and kill me" your frame was starting to shake in fear until you felt arms wrap around your waist and lift you, you blushed hard as you noticed that Keigo had moved you to sit on his lap while his wings wrapped around you as well, face to face very close like the night you almost kissed him. "Y/N, no matter what happens, I will protect you till my final breath you understand? Even if you don't like the idea or understand why I would fight to the death to protect, don't ask me please. But we all care for you and you can always tell us everything if someone is hurting you or your feeling like your been watched or whatever, you can tell us anything at anytime and we WILL help you" Your eyes stung from the tears forming in your eyes, you couldn't help but hug him tightly to which he responded back quickly and caressed your head softy and slowly while saying sweet nothings in your ear to calm you down. 

*Keigo's Pov*
I sat their holding her in my arms and wings, feeling her tears wet my shirt and hearing her sobs in my ear. My heart was breaking from this site, she doesn't deserve this kind of moment in her life, no one deserves to deal with been told they are been targeted to kill...Unless you did a fucked up thing and is been assassin but that is the opposite to what is happening. Y/N is been watched and known as a target to kill, this isn't far for her nor for me and Rumi. We love her dearly, she is a great person with a beautiful heart and soul that she deserves the happiness in her life. I want to know about her family badly, there could be something that is making this happen but she won't tell me and I won't force it either. That's when I noticed Y/N stopped crying, no more tears were running and her sobs were quiet, I looked at her and I could see she fell asleep on my shoulder, I smiled and giggled at the site "She looks cute in her sleep" I stood up with her arms around my neck and her legs around me waist, like I'm holding a toddler and sending them to bed. I found the room with her stuff and placed her into the bed, just from letting her go her face changed, she looks....sad and scared. Her arms were stretching out like she was looking for something with those tears coming back again, I couldn't help but grab her hand. She stopped and tried pulling me in with her, as much it was a bad idea I didn't want her to feel scared or alone "If Rumi comes back when we're asleep I hope she doesn't think of it as a 'THING'. Actually I'll quickly leave her a message", I pull out my phone and opened it.

-Idiot Bird- Hey Rumi, Y/N had another break down and is asleep but she doesn't want to be left alone. I know your still going to be a while so if you come home while I'm still here. I'll be in bed with Y/N so she doesn't feel that she's alone so...DON'T GET ANY OTHER IDEAS OK?!
