It has been a week since that night in Malfoys room. Another week full of lies and confusion. I can't hide the fact that the other tutoring sessions were even productive. The same thing would happen everytime we were alone with each other, we would scream our lungs out at each other and somehow end up with our clothes off on Malfoys bed. It's getting to a point where I have to tell Dean. I can't keep lying to him like this. Although, the Ball is this weekend and I don't want to tell him till after. I can't tell him just yet and ruin his week. Mainly because I know how excited he is to go with Daphne, I don't want anything to interrupt that. I still havent been asked and I have a feeling I should reach out to Fred and George for some help.Even though it's been a weird couple of weeks I am excited for today. I'm going to Hogsmeade with Dean and Seamus because they need to find something nice to wear to the Ball. Dean was worried about me getting sad if I went with them, but I really just want to be there for Dean and find him something nice to wear. Dean also doesn't have any female friends or sense of style so I have to be the one to find him a good outfit to impress Daphne.
"You ready?" Dean asks me as Seamus heads into the common room.
"Lets go!" I say with a smile on my face.
As we walk out into the Fall air I can't help but remember my night with Malfoy a couple weeks ago. Sitting outside by the lake with the warm Fall air hitting our bodies. I look to Dean with a small smile as I think about Malfoy. It feels like I'm living a double life. I hate having this feeling. I have decided to tell Dean the morning after the Ball. I'm going to try and break the news in a nice way where we can maybe work it out without any permanent damage to our friendship. I am quickly drawn from my thoughts as I hear Seamus talk about how excited he is for this weekend. We quickly get to Hogsmeade and enter a formal dress shop.
"Hermione?" I say as we walk in.
"Olivia! What are you doing here?" She asks as she gives me a hug.
"I came to help these two idiots find something decent to wear on Friday." I laugh.
"Ginny is here too! We are dress shopping for the Ball also. Did you get asked?" Hermione asks with a genuine smile.
"No, but it's okay! It's actually a good thing, I need to study anyway." I say trying to hide my true feelings behind my polite voice.
"Well, it doesn't matter too much! I'm glad you are here to help these two... they could use it."
"Heard that!" Dean interrupts our laughs.
"Well find me when you try something you like on!" I say as we walk towards the mens section. Hermione gives me a small nod as I turn around.
We spend the next hour trying to find something to fit Deans towering height and Seamus's lack there of. Dean could tell I was getting a little upset and starting trying on the most ridiculous dressing robes to try and make fun of Ron from last year. I couldn't help but giggle at him trying to cheer me up.
"I think we found them boys!" I exclaim standing up as Dean and Seamus sport themselves in pretty decent suits.
"I look bloody amazing!" Seamus beams while checking himself out in the mirror.
"Not as good as me." Dean chimes.
"Sod off, I may steal Daphne from right under you!"
"Sureeeee."
"Oh Liv! I know you're not going yet but I found the most beautiful emerald silk gown and I just need you to try it on!" I hear Hermione say to me from across the shop.
