Drew starkey:

AH, SENDING EVERYONE CARE PACKAGES AFTER THEY ALL LEAVE FOR S2 FILMING because that's what she does best. She thinks of everything, too. Austin facetimes her almost every night. Everyone is fairly attached to her, though Drew is considerably more attached at this point-

Austin catches her when she's getting ready for a work picnic Sunday morning. She's just started putting on her eye makeup when he calls, answering and balancing the phone on the sink.

"you're awake. that's a nice surprise." she flipped him off.

"You're rude, I want to talk to anyone but you." the boy grinned, opening the curtains in the apartment to let the afternoon light in.

"where are you going with mascara on?" she'd just put some base cream on her hand, fingers rubbing it onto her eyelids.

"We're having a picnic with all the clients." he bit his lips and admired her smooth, freckled skin even through the phone.

"that sounds nice, lin."

"it should be, yeah. How's filming? Have you started anything yet?" nodding, austin explained almost to a T what he'd been doing for the past two days. "How's the mail over there?" she couldn't help but smile thinking about the care packages she'd put in the mail for the cast just last week, hoping they'd get there before her surprise visit.

"The mail?"

"Yeah, you get anything?" blue eyes squinted at her.

"From you?" she shrugged and reached for her eyelash curler.

"In general, but..."

"AUSTIN, WHAT THE FUCK IS IN THIS BOX?" Rudy burst through the door with a giant box in his arms. Kaylin's eyes widened before she started laughing. "Oh, hi linny." the blond boy set it down on the counter next to her best friend, waving at the phone in his hand.

"Hi, roo." She smiled at him.

"I saw rudy with a box and now i'm here." drew announced, shutting the door with his foot before looking up at his castmates/roommates. "Is that lin?" he automatically ran a hand through his already tousled hair, eyes meeting hers on the screen. She was lining them with a brown pencil.

"Don't worry, starkey. There's something in there for everyone."

"you mean it's not just for me?" Austin scoffed, feigning offense.

"You're rude and I want to talk to anyone but you!" She flipped him off.

"I can fix that." drew snatched the phone out of Austin's hands, earning a scowl from the younger boy. "Hi, you're pretty." Drew couldn't help but grin as she rolled her eyes at his antics.

"Why did you put so much tape on this?" Rudy is muttering to himself while wrestling with the box trying to open it.

"Use your keys," she called, twisting the tube of mascara open.

"Say what now?" Rudy pushed the hair out of his eyes and came to stand by drew, box in his arms. Kaylin paused with the mascara wand centimeters from her eye.

"Use your keys to open the box, dummy." Austin nodded in agreement with his best friend. Rudy raised his eyebrows and made eye contact with drew.

"What is that, like a California thing?"

"Is it? I thought it was just common sense."
