Johan is forcibly taken to a place he didn't want to go. He is a lonely man who does not appreciate the intense flavors of alcoholic drinks. The moment he sets foot in DiJulius Pub, he already wants to leave.

Everyone has fun and chats. The musicians on the stage, in the background, encourage their noble visitors to sing. Johan sits next to his colleagues in silence. He follows Nayla and Amadeo's frantic madness running around the bar in cheerful dances, with glasses always full in their hands. The sounds are all too loud for Johan to distinguish any voice. It's overwhelming.

Suddenly, he feels a light touch on his shoulder. Turning back, he sees Dijana, smiling. She says, "Can I sit with you?". He responds with an affirmative nod. Dijana continues: "I'm sorry for Nayla's behavior. She is happy". Johan replies, also in sign language, a little truncated: "It's fine". Dijana claps happily.

The voiceless conversation continues: "Do you remember what Nayla said before your mission? Giving Amadeo a chance", Dijana says. "Yes", Johan replies. "Did this experience change your opinion?" she asks, looking into Johan's eyes. He hesitates to answer, but then says, "Yes. I guess... ", but he is interrupted by the very person they were talking about. Amadeo exclaims, already numb:

_ JoOoohaAAan!!! Do you sing?! Come siiiiiing!!

_ Eh... what...

Unable to answer, he is dragged by the blonde. Dijana looks at both, like a mother watching children playing. Johan looks back and gestures: "I take that back". Dijana instantly laughs.

_ I've read that Boody Aberrations are good in, like, everything of physical ability, right! Like siiingiiiing!! _ Amadeo pushes the novice on the stage.

The musicians greet him and ask if he knows a certain agitated song from the nightclubs of the Midnight City. Johan confirms and prepares himself... The instruments begin to emit their sound, and then Johan's deep, and rhythmic voice mixes with the notes. The vibration is so low that everyone feels it resonating in their bones. Nayla takes Amadeo's face in her hands and, joining their foreheads, says:

_ Holy moley, kid! He's amazing!! _ She walks away with a dramatic gesture _ How seeeexy! Ahh!

Amadeo doesn't answers, keeping his drunk smile. His bright eyes fixed on the stage.

In the next morning, neither the young Paragon nor the Ruber's Ranger recalled the song.

Author's notes:

>> I didn't create a song for Johan to sing in this chapter, but I imagine something like this:
