Chapter 21: I can see his face

Marcey glanced over at Cas.

"Shit!" She said taking a step back. We all stopped and looked over at Marcey and Castiel.

"What?" Cas asked. Again with the adorable confused puppy face.

"I can see his face" said Marcey.

"We can all see his face." Said Ethan.

"No I mean the-the other face!" Marcey said.

"What?" I asked.

"Like not Jimmy Novak the other one. I can see both of them."

"Wait you mean the angely one?" I asked.

"Yes Maria the angely one."

"You can see my true form?" Asked Castiel.

"Yes."

"How?" Asked Dean.

"Well I don't know!" Exclaimed Marcey.

"There are very few beings that have astral perception." Said Cas.

"Could you repeat that again in English?" Dean said.

"Astral perception is when someone can see a demon or angels true face." Cas explained "this is an ability for angels, demons, fairies, deities, reapers, the four horseman, and Nephilim."

"But I'm a human," said Marcey.

"Not if you can see his face apparently." I said. "So what the heck are you?"

"She's a Nephilim." Castiel answered. "Half angel half human."

"How did she become half angel?" Asked Jason as I mentally facepalmed.

"She was born half angel." I explained "Her dad was probably an angel."

"Oh." Jason said. "But how do you know she's a nephilim?"

"Because she appears human and if she was anything but a Nephilim I would be able to see her true form as well."

"So what does that mean for Marcey?" Asked Alfie. "Can she fly and stuff?"

"She does not have wings," explained Cas "but she does have above average strength and astral perception and she can only die in ways angels can die such as holy fire or angel blade."

"Define above average." Said Sam.

"She could throw Castiel across the room." I answered much to everyone's surprise. "What I t was in an episode! I watched Jane fight Cas and Metatron." I said defensively.

"That's creepy" said Dean.

"I know." I said smiling at him. "That's not even half as creepy as other episodes. And I can go watch any episode again at any time. And I know your worst fears and private moments you had all by yourself."

"Yes we do." Agreed Marcey.
