"So, what did I miss?" I said once I steadied my feet on the ground, ignoring the vomit I felt rising in my throat.
"Emerie!" Hermione squealed as she engulfed me in a hug.
"Can't. Breathe. 'Mione." I said between breaths. She loosened her hold on me laughing.
"Sorry!" She squeaked as Harry and Ron took turns giving me a tight hug which I happily returned.
"It's only been a month but it feels like a whole year since we were all together." Hermione said sadly.
"That it has. But I'm completely at your disposal for the next-" I paused looking around Ron's room for a clock. "-Three hours and then they'll notice I'm missing."
They all laughed as we sat down, a newspaper burning over a tray creating a warmth in the room. "So when did you both get here?" I asked Harry and Hermione.
"I live here." Ron said goofily, thinking I was talking to him.
"Not you Ronald, obviously you live here." I said rolling my eyes as Harry and Hermione stifled their laughs at Ron's confused face.
