Emerie's pov:

"Draco where are we going?" I giggled as he hurriedly pulled me out of the Slytherin Common Room.

"Not telling." He stated childishly.

I stopped in my tracks causing my hand to slip from his. He instantly turned around his face becoming amused. "Are you seriously going to stand there and huff until I tell you?" He asked playfully.

"If needs be."

"You are the biggest child I know." He chuckled closing the gap between us.

"Yeah well, you're still an asshole." I fired back stupidly which only made him laugh more.

"Let's go. Don't be such a brat." He smiled mischievously picking me up.

My legs wrapped around his waist while my arms instinctively found their way around his neck. "Are you going to tell me now?" I prodded, my skirt bunched up slightly. Draco's hands under my thighs keeping it in place.

"Nope." He stated continuing to walk forwards, looking carefully at where he was stepping.

"You should tell me incase I hate it." I teased.

"If you hate it then I'll personally hitch myself off the Astronomy tower among other things." He said seriously.

Before I could ask him what he meant or pry any further a familiar voice stopped the words from leaving my lips.

"Emerie!" I heard a voice call.

I looked past Draco to see a tall about 5'8, boy with dirty-fur hair and the unforgettable smile on his face.

"Carson?" I asked in disbelief laughing softly. I let go of Draco who sent me a stern look, before he could protest I ran up to Carson engulfing him in a big hug.

"Hi, slug." He laughed warmly, wrapping his arms around me.

"Really? After five years that's your big greeting?" I laughed softly.

"You didn't get the nickname for nothing, I can't just forget about it." He smiled.

"Whatever, snail."

"So, I heard you talked to Dumbledore..." He began.

"Not here." I whispered, he looked past me at Draco.
