TW ~ Bombs (Not Clickbait this time), Fire, Mentions of Death, Gore, Shouting, Fighting
Author's POV:
Tommy braced for an impact, one that never came. His eyes followed Dream to the door, where Karl stood, holding some sort of large bottle.
"Hey I wanted to test my new blowtorch an- oh... I guess the danger is gone? Well, then what do I use this blowtorch for?" He asked dejectedly, firing the tube. Sparks of flame flew out the container.
"KARL BE CAREFUL WITH THAT! YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME YOU BROUGHT THAT OUT" Quackity shouted, panicking.
"K- Karl I-" Dream groaned, completely flabbergasted. "A fucking blowtorch? Now of all times?"
Tommy blinked.
Then blinked again.
Then blinked once more, for good measure.
What the fuck.
"So what was the whole, you know, issue?" Karl asked confused.
That's when Tommy slowly acknowledged what happened. He assessed the room, from the dead body on the floor, the arrow sticking out of his chest, the button, Quackity's solemn expression, Karl's confusion, the guard's panic, the shock on Dream's face.
Tommy turned back to Ranboo, his stomach sinking. He ran up to the dead demon, crouching at the body.
"Ranboo?" he asked meekly, although he knew very well he wasn't getting a response.
"He's... dead...?" Tommy squeaked out, although it was more likely he was just trying to convince himself.
"Tommy..." Quackity whispered, but Tommy paid no attention to him.
Tommy blinked again, you can never actually blink enough you know? He punched Ranboo's shoulder.
"Wake up idiot," Tommy glared at the corpse.
"Tommy he..."
"Ranboo" Tommy blinked, ignoring Quackity yet again. Instead, he leaned over the body, patting its forehead.
"Hey, Ranboo. I dunno why you aren't answering me?" he asked casually.
It hadn't properly registered to him what had happened. When Ranboo didn't answer, Tommy frowned."Did you fall asleep? That's very unlike you Ran, oh does this arrow hurt you?" he laughed nervously, patting the arrow carefully.
After no response, Tommy snapped his head towards Quackity in pure confusion, before looking back at the body.
"Ran, Boo, wake up!" he shrieked, shaking the dead body.
He was on the edge of a nervous breakdown."Ranboo WAKE UP!" he screamed, sobbing again.
"Ranboo, don't leave me, I need you, Boo, please, please, even you Ran, please."Quackity grabbed both his wrists, which we're now trying to pull Ranboo into a sitting position.
Dream stood back with a pained expression. He wanted to help, he didn't know how to though.
"Big Q, let go of me! I'm just going to wake Ranboo up! It's okay, he's just taking a nap. You'll see!" he said, smiling. Tommy fought against Quackity's grip, who let the boy's hands free out of sympathy.
