You were currently sitting at restaurant waiting for your date. You were getting really impatient as he was over half a hour late.
You were getting ready to pay and go until a guy came up to you.
"Y/n right" the guy asked
"Yeah" you replied back
"I'm Matheus I'm so sorry I'm late, I was getting ready to go until one of my teammates ended up calling me back in I told them I had somewhere to be but they wouldn't let me go until I had enough and told them I had a date and they started teasing me..." He said rambling on and on
"Hey your rambling your all good don't worry about it, it's all forgotten about" You said smiling back
"Great thank you, have you been here for long?"
"About half a hour"
"My bad I'm sorry"
"It's ok honestly I don't mind thanks for still coming I know you could have easily have forgotten about it but you didn't so"
"Could turn down the chance to meet a pretty lady now could I?"
"Wow already being nice within a couple minutes"
You ordered your food, you got a vegan burger with chips and a coke.
"So what would be your ideal first date?" Asked Matheus
"Honestly?" You replied back eating a chip
"Honestly"
"Amusement park, I'm not that type of girl that needs an expensive date, I'm fine with anything really, how about you?"
"Anything to do with football"
"I could easily win against you"
"Oh really we have to put that to the test next date" he replied smirking
"Ohhh so there gonna be a second date?"
"Yes definitely"
"Good"
After the date he insisted on walking you home, it was about a 10 minutes walk.
"You really didn't have to walk me home" you said smiling
"It's no bother really I like to keep you safe for our second date"
"Wow so nice"
You arrived at your apartment and kissed his cheek and said your goodbyes and headed to bed.
