It was a normal monday morning, you were running around the house, trying to pack your bag, your car had broken down recently and was in the shop, which meant you were taking the bus to Uni, you had to leave the house now or you would miss the bus, you were revising for a upcoming test, and you had tipped your bag out.
You were upstairs grabbing your notes, when your foot lost placing, and you suddenly felt yourself falling from the top of the stairs, then blackness.
Mason POV:
Monday training was normally the more chilled back one, it was recovering from the weekend match, which was an away match.
You were having breakfast, which consisted of eggs, bacon and toast, pretty standard.
You were sitting with Ben, Reece and Trevoh, talking about some stuff, before you noticed you were getting a call, from a unknown call, which was pretty normal, that was until it called again, which made you think, and you ended up deciding on answering it.
"hello?" you asked
"hi there are we speaking to Mason Mount?" the person on the other end asked
"yes can i help you?" you asked confused on who it was
"Your girlfriend y/n y/l/n has been admitted to hospital, she took a fall down stairs and your her emergency number" the person explained
"ok i'm coming" you said before ending and quickly standing up
"woah mate where are you going?" Ben asked
"i- i have to go y/n she's in hospital i'm not too sure what happened but i need to go, can you explain to the manager what happened? i need to go" you normally were chill, but when it came to this you were panicking
"yes we can do that, let us know how she is" Reece said, before you run away, only taken your phone, keys and wallet
The drive was painful, you were alone with your own thoughts, you were panicking, her mum lived in Scotland, and her dad was no where to be seen, her mum has surely been called, but you made a mental note to remember to call her when you got to the hospital:
When you arrived you run upstairs and found the right room, when you walked in, you saw the cast on her left leg, and a ton of bruises.

"oh babe" you heard Mason say "it's fine, it was my own fault, i was in a hurry and missed a step" you said "come join me in the bed i missed you" you said patting the bed next to you
He double checked you wanted him on the bed, and was very carefully on where he sat, you cuddled into him, while he was making sure you were fine.
