You were on your daily jog around Manchester it was raining here but you were committed, you had a bet with your brother that you couldn't go out and run for a month, the only reason you excepted it was because he also offered £100 and you wanted some new clothes.
You just passed a coffee stop when all a sudden you felt warm coffee go down you, you slightly felt the burning.
"oh my god i'm so sorry" the man spoke, you completely forgot he was there, you looked up to see an attractive man with dark black hair, couple times and looked a bit older than you, you were 22.
"don't worry about it, it was mostly my fault i'm pretty clumsy, i can buy you and new coffee if you want? oh wait shit i'm so sorry i don't have my card on me" you ramble back, at this point you were just embarrassing yourself
"no don't worry about it, are you ok? i know warm coffee can hurt?" you were not going to lie his accent was pretty sexy
"oh yeah i'm ok"
"how about i can make it up to you, i can buy us both a coffee, and we can get to know one another?" the man suggested
"sure why not i'm y/n by the way" you said putting your hand out for him to shake
"Bruno" he shook your hand, you felt like you recognised him from somewhere but couldn't pin point it

It had been a year since that incident, you found out it was his first day out in Manchester, he had moved from Portugal, and he got a move to Man utd, you were a football fan, but you were a Man City fan, you guessed that's why you didn't recognise him
In the year you guys had a couple more dates, and you are officially dating, you had moved in together not too long ago.
You were meeting up with some of Bruno's teammates, you use every excuse to not meet them, but you ended up not able to come up with one, and here you were standing outside a restaurant waiting for your boyfriend to come out.
You were wearing a cow print crop top and blue ripped jeans, and air forces.
After a couple more minutes you noticed your boyfriend making his way over to you.
"finally" you commented making him laugh
"sorry, i just saw your messages now" he replied back grabbing your hand and taking you inside
Once you got to the table you noticed a couple player, you decided to do a google search before meeting them, you at least wanted it to look like you were smart.
Bruno introduced you to everyone and you learned more of there names.
"so y/n how did you know Bruno was the one?" Marcus Rashford asked
"when he sings to get you out of a bad mood" you said laughing at the fact you were exposing Bruno out to be a softie in front of his teammates
"i don't do that" he spoke back
"really cause i do have the recording"
"ohhhhhhhh hey you lied you said you deleted it"
"i lied i needed it for moments like this"
You grabbed your phone and found the video you were talking about i showed them
After another hour you headed home and got ready for bed and started watching your netflix show
"you know the minute i meet you it was love at first sight" Bruno randomly spoke
"same for me" you replied back giving him a kiss
